As I get up I realize that it is adoption day. I already know that I won't be adopted, I am 14 years old and people don't usually want kids older than 7. I grab my laptop near my bed and start to do my wake up routine of watching YouTube and then living my "life". I go to one of my favorite YouTubers channels and click on the first video there. "Hello everybody my name is Markiplier and today I am doing a Vlog to tell you guys some important things." The video goes on with him rambling and what he mainly says is that one of his friends, Jacksepticeye is going to be moving in with him and they will be adopting a kid today.
I jump out of my bed with a huge smile on my face. I grab a "Markiplier M" shirt and my Jacksepticeye snapback hat. I gotta at least show part of my cool side. I think as I also grab jeans and my tennis shoes and get dressed. When I'm done I look at myself in the mirror, I look decent I guess.
I walk downstairs and start to do my daily chores. I start to clean items off of the counters in the kitchen and then wash off the counters. Once I finish everything in the kitchen I go in to the lobby and wait to get interviewed by whoever is going to adopt today.
Time skip to interviewing time:
I walk in to the interviewing room and I see a small woman sat next to a man who is a bit taller. I wave, "Hi, my name is Lanty." I say as I sit in the chair in front of them. They both smile and look at each other "Hi, its nice to meet you." The woman says. They both ask me tons of questions and when I am done I am greeted with another interviewing room door.
I walk inside and I see a man with light brown hair and another with dark brown, almost back hair. I recognize them instantly as I walk towards the chair in front of them. "H-h-hi. My n-name is Lanty." I stutter when I sit down in front of my idols, Jacksepticeye and Markiplier.
They both look at each other and laugh, "I'm guessing you know who we are based on your cool outfit." Mark says with a smile. I instantly remember what I'm wearing and I almost face palm. I try to laugh at his joke "Yeah, you guys are awesome." I say. They both smile and say "thanks" in unison. They ask me some questions and joke around for about 45 minutes. "Hey, you know what? You are getting adopted today." Jack says as he stands up. A huge smile spreads on my face and I jump-hug Jack.
