I wave bye to Jack and Mark and then I head to my first hour class. I hear a loud bell ring above my head,
RING RING RING
then I hear tons of voices and footsteps walk around the earlier empty halls. I get to my first hour and I look in the window and I see a woman come over to the door. She opens the door and seems a bit startled to see me. "Hi. I'm Lanty. I'm a new student so..." I say looking at her smiling. "Oh, yeah. I got an email about that. Um, just sit right here and try to understand some things we are talking about. Don't worry if you don't understand at first, I'm sure you'll catch on soon." She gestures to a chair and desk to sit in that is 3 rows from the front. I sit down in the chair and most of my day goes like this.
I found out all the names of my teachers, Mrs. Grant is my first hour and she is pretty played back. There are a lot of others, but I don't remember all of them and I don't know them very much either. When the day is finally done I am not sure where and what to do. I decide to go out the main doors and I instantly see a lot of people crowded by a car. I know that car. Well, I found my dads. I go over to the crowd and I see Mark and Jack trying to deal with all the fans by taking pictures and looking around for me.
Jack then sees me behind the crowd and waves. I try to push my way through the crowd and then I finally get to them Mark picks me up and has Jack open the car door and he drops me inside. The fans start yelling and trying to even claw at my dads and ask them many questions that they don't answer. Then Jack and Mark look at each other. "Now all you guys listen up." Marks booming voice says. Everyone is silent. "We want to meet all of you, I'm sure you're all wonderful, but I don't think we can have a huge signing right outside the school. So all of you who want to meet us, go to the football field that's a few blocks away in 2 days at 4:30, then we'll meet you all. Okay?"
The crowd nods and slowly people walk away letting us leave and go home. Mark and Jack hop in the car and we go home. As soon as we get home I plop down on the couch and try to turn on the TV, but Jack almost immediately runs up to me "How was your first day?" I smile, how could I have forgotten? "It was great." I say. Mark walks over with a smile on his face. "That's fantastic."
They both pull me off the couch, "So... You still haven't even recorded with us once. You wanna change that?" Mark asks. Jack smiles like he is a little kid. "I do need content for my channel." He says with a little chuckle. "I would love to record with my lovely dads, but I do have a question." They both look strait at me, "Why did you guys decide to adopt me together?" They both sigh.
