As soon as we hear the knock both Mark and Jack jolt upright and look at each other. "I'll get it." Mark says as he stands up. I'm not sure who would be at the door, it is almost 8:00 at night and they didn't tell me about anyone who was supposed to come over today. Jacks and my eyes follow Mark as he walks over to the door. Mark turns the knob and I can't quite tell who is behind the door even when the door is wide open. It looks like a middle aged woman who might have light brown hair, but I can't really tell. Mark talks to her in a hushed voice and she laughs. Who is that? I have never heard her laugh before... Jacks eyes widen and he runs to the door. "Signe? Is that you dear?" Jack says as he gets up and walks over to the door. Mark gets shoved out of the way by the woman and I realize that I do know who that is.
We let her inside and I realize how stunning she really is. Signs is Jacks girlfriend and she was supposed to come and move to L.A. with Jack, but her flight was delayed and she hasn't gotten a flight until now. She didn't have light brown hair like I previously thought, but she had a dirty blonde hair that resembled mine. "It is so good to see you." Jack says as he hugs her tightly. Signe closes her eyed and hugs him back, "I've missed you Sean." She says in his ear. They all walk back over to the couch and it's pretty obvious that she notices me pretty fast. I stand up and am about to explain myself when Signe smiles and hugs me. "Its nice to meet you, you're Lanty right?" Signe says happily when she hugs me. I nod, "yeah, you're Signe right? I love your drawings." I say trying to compliment Jacks very nice girlfriend. "Awe, thanks so much, I love your hair." She responds squeezing me a little a d then letting me out of the hug. Signe smiles and looks at Mark, "nice to meet you too. Sean has told me so much about you." Signe gives Mark a light hug and then let's go and walks back to Jack. "What do you want to do since you're here now?" Jack asks looking in Signe's eyes. "I'm exhausted from the flight, I'm probably just going to unpack and go to bed." She responds. Mark grabs her bag that she dropped when she saw Jack and gives it to her. "We have another gentleman here. Thanks." Signe says grabbing her bag. "He is not a gentleman... Trust me." Jack says with sarcasm in his voice. They all laugh and I smile a little. "Which room is yours Seany boy?" Signe asks looking upstairs. "I'll take you to it my lady." Jack says grabbing her bag and heading upstairs to his room. They both go inside and Jack says something and they both giggle. "We should probably go to bed too, you got school tomorrow." Mark says starting towards the stairs. I nod, "okay, can I get tucked in?" I ask thinking back to that being one of my best childhood memories. Mark laughs, "of course. I wouldn't have it any other way." We both go to my room and I get tucked in. "Night Markimoo." I say. "Night Lantymoo." Mark chuckles.
