Quenching Thirst: Chapters 6 <3

Chapter 6: The Passion

The next morning, I was awakened by a sound of a broken plate. I gasped. Then , I looked the other side of my bed. George was gone!

What if they knew he's hiding in my basement? What if they took him without me noticing? Sometimes, I blame myself and my brain, on why do I sleep so well so usual? I was irritated...

But now, I need to follow the cracked sound a while ago that woke me up...

So, I followed the noise which came from my kitchen. 

SOMEONE HUGGED ME TIGHT FROM THE BACK!

The boy chuckled. It was George!

"You scared me!", I told him.

"I know. I read your mind. Haha", George said with a smile. Gosh, he's dimples is such a killer! One smile can murder me enough and chop me to tiny, little pieces!

Then, it hit me. He promised not to read my mind. That's where I took revenge on my boyfriend.

"I thought you weren't supposed to read my mind until I said so?", I told him, then I laughed.

George's face went pale. His reply was only:

"Uh-Oh".

He let my feet touch the ground and that's how he manages to escape from my punishment. You see, to make sure he learns for what he has done, I'll pinch his dimples (like I've always dream of), then, pinches his nose until it turns red.

After he clinged to the ceiling, I shouted at him:

"You're cheating!"

"You started it". It made me more furious.

"No, you promised that you will never read my mind. But guess what, it's just our second day in a serious relationship and you're making fun of me like a little girl...".

I cried. I'm sorry if I'm over dramatic, but I take relationships seriously. 

That's where he landed on his feet on the ground.

When it comes to deep seriousness, that's where he'll take it as no joke.

Anyway, he saw me crying, and pleaded in front of me. He sounds like a valedictorian in his speech of apology for me:

"Monique, I'm so sorry. I-I didn't mean to hurt you, look into my eyes", then I looked into his. Gosh, his eyes is like the ocean, calm as it is. God, if only I can faint in front of him, if it wasn't him. Anyway, he continued his speech, "Promise, I'll be serious...".

I raised my right eyebrow like if I were the boss who does not trust her employee, which is George.

"On one condition", I made a deal with him.

His face was as if he is agreeing to my condition. "Deal", he said.

Then, here I go...

"I will not punish you... If...", I stopped. Suddenly, the back of my mind is trying to force me: "What if you fail? He will never like you...".

I suddenly kissed him! I couldn't take it anymore!! I needed him and his kiss so desperately, I'll do anything for it... 

Then, his moist lips captures my lips smoothly. His lips covered my entire lower lip and filled it with nothing but the gentle breeze of his lips. His tongue tasted my lips as if it was covered with savory strawberry and mango lipstick... I pulled his shirt closer to me, meaning, I wanted more of his fine and delicate kiss... I never felt this alive! It's like your whole body is electrified! I never wanted this to end, no... I wanted this to be forever... He seems like he wanted my kiss too, so he pulled my body close to each other. He suddenly stopped.

"Is there something bothering you?", I asked him. 

"Is this too awkward for you, like kissing a vampire like me in 9:00 in the morning?", he asked.

I raised an eyebrow, then replied, "No. Why would I?".

"I don't know, maybe because you're a human and I'm a vampire", George said, hiding his face from me.

"I don't mind", I said, lifting his chin up to see my face and so I could also see his. "Look, I got to go to school now". I was stupid for interrupting our moment.

But he was cool with it. After seeing him nodding  permission, a "Yes" nodding, I headed to school.
