Dedicated to SadSmil3s for the lovely fan art above! x

Unedited for several reasons; I'm tired, I'm ill, and I'm emotionally unstable because of the X Factor performance (I shall leave a note at the bottom about this guys) so please forgive me x

HARRY WAS AN ABSOLUTE GENTLEMAN and the sneaky bugger knew it. He arrived at my home at exactly eight o'clock, looking incredibly smart in his dark jeans and white shirt. His messy hair was unruly and loose, slightly wind-swept around his beautiful face. I found myself smirking, happy it wasn't tied back so that I could run my hands through it and tug on it as much as I pleased.

You dirty bítch.

I certainly was and there was no way I was going to let us get interrupted once again. I'd suggested returning to either my place or his after our meal and I intended to continue where we'd left off during his last visit, minus something as awful as a menstrual cycle to ruin it all. This time, we were going all the damn way.

Harry escorted me out of the building like I was a princess and I couldn't help but giggle at his close proximity. I was tempted to just jump on him, right there in the street. Patience, said the voice in my mind and I knew it would be best to listen for multiple reasons; one, we were in an awfully public place and there was nothing quite as awkward as viewing public affection; two, it would probably scare Harry if I were to release my inner savage on him so early into the date and three, I was going to hump the shít out of him when we got back.

"There's this great restaurant by the Victoria Apollo Theatre called *Giraffe," Harry started and I just looked at him and waited for him to finish the pun. He liked to crack a joke every now and then and this seemed like one of them. I was baffled to find he was completely serious. "I thought we could go there? It's not too classy, not too dodgy, but more like a chilled atmosphere with lovely service."

I nodded a little too enthusiastically and he just chuckled before opening his car door to let me step in first.

The drive was short and sweet, hardly any traffic slowing us down - strange for a Saturday night, I thought. I didn't complain though; sometimes the things that made the city a city could be put to the side, especially if it were a date between Harry and I.

I loved the city and everything about it; the traffic, the noise, the people, the buzz from just walking through the streets every day. Even the small, annoying things like the slow traffic, the pests in the air and on the ground, the litter, the constant  queueing outside cinemas. I strangely loved those too - it just made the entire character of a city more intriguing. And every city had its famous landmarks, something unique about it.

"I'm paying, just so you know," Harry said suddenly as he turned the corner.

"OK," I said.

He seemed surprised. An eyebrow raised in question. "Just like that?"
