mason's p.o.v
i'm in deep shit right now. i sighed i'm in deep shit cause i love HIM. i looked out to the ocean my mother and father arguing downstairs which is a rare sight. "SKY HE'S A KID THIS WILL BLOW OVER SOON!!!" my mother yelled " TY THE SQUIDS COULD FIND US CAUSE THAT BOY IS STUPID ENOUGH TO LOVE THAT THING!" i couldn't stand my father's words i climbed down and walked to the ocean. i sat down listening to the waves i smiled the ocean calming me down. "mason is that you?" i opened my eyes looking at him the person or squid rather who got me into this mess. "go away Squiddy...." i turned away after calling his nickname that he hated hoping it will drive him away. "sorry i messed up this is my fault."
i turned to look at him. he looked like the squid king expect a lot buffer and having a chiseled face. "no its mine. i had you stay out for too long..." i looked away. "i'm sorry Sam.." i finally said his name he pet my cheek and i leaned in. "its ok not your fault your father is an asshole." i glared at him. "sam he isn't an asshole he's overprotective always has been he knew i was like a girl since day one....i miss having the tickle fights....." i started to cry.
"hey hey hey i'm sorry i called your father an asshole." i smile and kiss him. "its fine i just miss it when we were a family.." i look down.
he held me close. "i know." i snuggle in and sighed.
one day humans will learn to accept a squid into their town...one day..
