Long time ago, before the Martins family was complete. Richard Martin had once loved a strong, beautiful women with bright blonde hair and big ocean like eyes who was named Katherina, seduced him to mate with her one night which resulted her to having a beautiful girl a said miracle to Beacon Hills.

After the birth of their child, when he found out that Katherina was a retired demon, and killed Katherina in the sake of saving his child.

He decided to call her Lydia Martin, who was born in Beacon Hills, USA on 5 May 1996. She was the perfect little baby. Big emerald eyes and soft strawberry blonde hair, but having a demon as a mother, she obviously had to be born with demon blood.

Richard Martin knew there will be a day when the demons will try to take his precious baby away from him, so he learnt how to hunt the supernatural and drew a pentagram under Lydia's cot, so no demon could step through.

On the night of November 2nd 1996, Lydia's biological mother who possessed another soul, came to claim her and train Lydia for an upcoming Great War against Demon Hunters.

Just when Katherina was about to step in Lydia's room, after killing her step-mother out of jealousy, she saw Richard holding Lydia and said," Oh my Richard, you should give up already and give the baby to me so I don't have to hurt you, I really did love you and you're giving me no choice right now, but to take her with force."
"Never, and never would you see us ever again, "he said while pulling out a pendant from his pocket with a pentagram on it, it was a special amulet that could teleport you to anywhere you wanted to go and he used it to teleport himself out of America and to England to his hometown.

During the years of living in England her father trained Lydia to defend herself, but without teaching her about the supernatural. She also met a handsome young boy called Stiles Stilinski who were there neighbours for a couple of years before moving to America. Richard would sometimes also teach Stiles defence mechanisms when he was stuck at home with no entertainment.
Lydia knew where she came from and grew more curious about why she couldn't go back home.

A few years later, when Lydia turned into a more beautiful green eyed young woman with her red tresses reaching her waist, her dad decided to give permission to Lydia to go back to Beacon Hills and study the supernatural at Beacon Hills College, because he thought she was old enough and he knew Stiles went to that college so he could protect her. But what the Martins didn't know is that Lydia was coming home to hell.
