CH.#2

Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst walked through the cave. Pearl inched her way closer to Amethyst. "Amethyst, IM so sorry for what I said back at the temple" Pearl whispered. "Whatever. Let's just forget about it for now and focus on the mission." Amethyst said still looking ahead. "Please forgive me, Amethyst. I don't want this to affect our friendsh-" Pearl was cut off by Amethyst grabbing her by the collar of her shirt and bringing their faces close.

"There is no friendship between us anymore. You hate me, remember? The only thing we are is teammates...and nothing more" Amethyst said in a low and angry voice. Pearl looked into Amethyst glossy and anger filled eyes. She could tell Amethyst was about to cry. Amethyst let go of Pearl. "We're just friends, okay?" Amethyst said, her voice cracked. "Ok" Pearl said sadly. They caught up to Garnet.

"Keep your guard up gems. The monster could be anywhere" Garnet said while summoning her gauntlets. Amethyst and Pearl nodded, summoning their weapon as well. The three continued walking through the cave. A loud crash was heard behind them, this made the three jump and turn around. A large rock gem monster stood in front of them. "There's the bastard!!" Amethyst yelled in anger as she lunged herself at the gem monster. "AMETHYST NO!!" Garnet and Pearl yelled at the same time.

The monster whacked Amethyst to the cave wall. She screamed in pain as she went through the wall. Pearl watched in horror. Garnet looked at Amethyst worriedly. Amethyst shakily stood up. Cuts and dark marks covered her body and face. The monster walked towards Amethyst. "PEARL, NOW!!" Garnet yelled. Pearl nodded and started shooting white energy ball thingys (out of her spear) at the monster's back. The monster roared and quickly turned around to face Pearl.

Garnet ran towards Amethyst and picked her up. "You ok?" Garnet said looking at her. Amethyst nodded in response. Pearl and the monster began to fight. Pearl was getting hit a few times, leaving cuts and bruises on her body. Garnet sat Amethyst down, she picked up a huge rock and threw it at the monster. Pearl noticed and she quickly moved away from the monster. The rock hit the monster's back, making it stumble back and hit the cave wall. The cave shook, little rocks fell from the top of the cave.

"THE CAVE IS COLLAPSING!!" Pearl yelled as she looked at Garnet. Garnet nodded and looked at the monster, it wasn't there anymore. Amethyst, Garnet, and Pearl looked around cautiously. Rocks fell from the ceiling. "Uh...guys we gotta go" Amethyst said looking at the top of the cave. Garnet and Pearl nodded. They all started running out of the cave. Garnet in the front,Pearl in the middle, and Amethyst in the back. Pearl yelped as a rock fell on top of her leg.

Garnet turned around and looked at Pearl with wide eyes. Amethyst ran to Pearl. "I gotcha, P. Hang on" Amethyst said. Pearl looked at her. Amethyst picked the rock up a bit (could've picked it up higher, but she is hurt), Pearl slipped her leg off from under it. Garnet and Pearl began to run. Amethyst dropped the rock and followed. The ground began to shake, Pearl and Amethyst lost their balance, making them fall on the ground. Garnet stumbled a bit, but stayed standing. They all heard a roar, then quickly turned around. The rock monster was chasing them.

Pearl and Amethyst quickly stood up. They all started running, again. Garnet spotted the warpad ahead. She picked up her pace. Garnet was now standing on the warpad. Amethyst screamed as a huge rock hand wrapped around her torso and pulled her back. Pearl stopped running and looked behind her. The monster squeezed Amethyst tightly. Amethyst screamed in pain. Garnet and Pearl lunged at the monster and started attacking it. The monster kicked Garnet into a wall, Garnet hit the wall and fell limply to the ground. Pearl looked at Garnet, she was unconscious. Amethyst screamed louder as the monster squeezed her tighter. Pearl looked at Amethyst. Amethyst poofed. Pearl's eyes widened.

Amethyst's gem fell out of the monster's hand and onto the ground. The monster rose it's foot up to step on the gem. Pearl lunged at the monster and cut it's leg off, then jumped up and stabbed him in the head as she came back down. The monster poofed. Garnet's eyes opened slowly, she sat up and looked at Pearl. Pearl bubbled the monster's gem and sent it off to the temple. She walked to Amethyst gem and picked it up. Garnet stood up and walked towards Pearl. "IM sorry....IM sorry.....IM sorry..." Pearl whispered, pulling Amethyst's gem close to her chest.

Garnet placed her hand on Pearl's shoulder. Pearl looked at Garnet with tears in her eyes. "She'll be okay, Pearl" Garnet said smiling. Pearl looked back down at Amethyst's gem and wiped her tears away. "I know, I know. It's just.....I said something to her that made her upset.....and when I apologized to her. She didn't accept it...." Pearl said softly. "Let me guess...you said you hate her, am I right?" Garnet said. Pearl nodded. "Well....sometimes, if you tell someone that you hate them. Then they won't forgive you so easily" Garnet said. Pearl nodded. "Alright. Com'on let's go home" Garnet said. Pearl nodded. They walked back to the warpad, Garnet warped them home.
