I just came back from the Maze, i always run together with Minho. I saw my best friend Newt touring the Greenie around so i desided to go up to them to introduce myself. "Hey Newt! New Greenie?" I asked Newt while giving him a quick hug. "Yeah, Tommy this is Caitlin. Cait, this is Thomas." We shook hands and he winked at me. "Nice to meet such a pretty girl here." He said and i blushed. "Caitlin, don't you need to go to the map room, i have to talk to Thomas." I nodded and jogged to the map room.
~Time Skip~
I finally finished my map and went to change. After i put on clean clothes i went to the bonfire for Thomas. I sat at the log i was always sitting with Newt. We were both laughing and drinking Gally's special drink. Suddenly Thomas came over. "So, we're gonna play some truth or dare, wanna come play with us?" He asked. We both looked at eachother before i said: "Sure, why not." We both stood up and all the Gladers went to sit in a circle. It was a wild game. Gally was dared to kiss Ben, Minho was dared to sit in his boxers for the rest of the day, and Chuck was dared to go klunk in the gardens. "Caitlin, truth or dare?" Thomas smirked. "Uhm, dare." I said confidently. "Kiss me." He said. I was a bit startled but then leaned closer to Thomas a gave him a quick kiss on his lips, that lasted for like 5 seconds. "I'm gonna go..." Newt said and ran off to the deadheads. I ran towards him, he is my best friend after all. (And i kinda have a crush on him to) I searched for Newt around the creepy deadheads until i found him walking in circles, talking to himself. I hid behind a tree to hear what he was saying. "No she doesn't, i mean she's your best friend! She's obviously in love with Thomas. Maybe they will get together and marry and have kids and a future together and i am then forced to watch to girl that i love be in love with another guy!" I smiled, i was the only girl in the Glade, so he was definatly talking about me. I was so happy that in the middle of his speech to himself i ran up and kissed him. He was obviously very shocked at first, but when he realised it was me his eyes fluttered shot and he kissed me back. When i pulled away he smiled. "Hello to you too." He said. I chuckled. "I heard you talking by the way. Is it really true, you love me?" I asked. He nodded. "I love you Caitlin, with all my heart. Would you be my girlfriend?" I pecked him on the cheek. "Yes." Then he grabbed my waist and pulled me into a passionate kiss. Once i pulled away, he whined a little. I giggled. "We have to go back to the others." He nodded and grabbed my hand. Once we both got back to the other Gladers they all looked at us. "Are you two a couple?" I heared Thomas ask slightly hurt. Newt wrapped his arm around my waist. "Yeah, we are." He smiled at me. "But what about our kiss Caitlin? Didn't you feel anything?" Thomas asked. "No, sorry Thomas. I'm sure there's another girl out there for you, but i'm not the one." Thomas glared at Newt and stomped away. Newt smirked. "So, wanna go back to the deadheads to look at the stars and finish what we started there?"
