Thanksgiving Chapter 9

La'niyah POV
So today is thanksgiving and I'm glad that me and my family get to go back to Michigan to visit the rest of my family. After I finished packing I went downstairs and ate my moms famous spinach cheese quiche which is soo good. After eating I went to school but of course I was jogging there because of tyriq.But then I saw him running with Clarissa I smiled while a year fell aside my cheek. When I got to school King was waiting for me but I'm glad he gets to come to Michigan with me.
"Hey Kingy" I said
"Hey baby" he said
"I'm so happy to get to come to Michigan with me" I said
" yea I'm sure I'll have fun" he said
*DING DING*
"Well guess it's time for 1st period" I said
" yea ill see u at connections" King said while kissing me on the cheek
1st period (Science)
Ms Ross- today class will be the dissection of the pregnant female frog next week we will be doing the dissection of a eye. Anyway I will assign your partners for today" she said
I knew she would partner me and tyriq together because when we were dating ms Ross saw our connection but I might as well deal with whatever he has to say
Ms Ross-the people who will be dissecting are
Sarah and Nina
Casey and Matt
Tyrone and Jessica
Tyriq and Clarissa
tamayah and La'niyah
hailey and T'mya smith
The rest of the class will start on there projects ok GET TO WORK!

Well I thought tyriq would be partnered with me but at least I'm with tamiyah.
"Nai u alright"? Tamiyah asked
"Yea I'm cool I just thought I would get partnered with tyriq" I said
" why would you think that" she said
"I'm not sure I think I still have feelings for him" i said while looking at tyriq
" now Nai u have King y'all been going for almost two months now so don't go back to the past ok"
"Ok I guess but I do miss him"
"Haha just keep dissecting these frogs before I walk over there and get y'all back together"
*DING DING*
"Well it's time for 2nd period doll you'll be ok u have me and King tyriq is just a close chance to be the one" tamiyah said
"Thanks T" I said
Skipping to 3rd period (connections)
"hey beautiful"tyriq said
" oh tyriq I'm flattered but were not dating anymore"
"Oh La'niyah I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Clarissa"
"Of course u were I'm sorry for that"I said
"Well that was embarrassing" I said out-loud 
"Hey Nai" King said
"Oh my gosh hey King" I said relieved
" u wanna race" he asked
"Sure"
Back at home
"La'niyah are u all packed" my mom asked
" yea" I said
"Let's go people we need to go" my dad yelled

In Michigan at my aunt house
" so King are you talking care of my daughter"? My dad asked as we ate
"Yes sir" King said
" your name may be King but in my house I'm King and your prince" my dad said laughing
"Dad"!
"It's ok La'niyah" King said
"So have y'all been doing the birds and the bees"?
Me and King were both silent because I did give him a bj in the movie theaters but that don't count as sex.
"No" we both said
"Haha ok sure but even if you do I'm not mad cause your mom was just a little of a thot" my dad said
"Dad!" I said
My mom looked at him crazy and then hit him in the hair while laughing
2 hours later
"So King how do u like it being back in our ( me and King) hometown" I asked
"It's nice tbh" he said
"Well we leave in a few hours might as well spend the time being a good relationship" I laughed
"haha okey dokey" he said kissing me passionately
The next morning
"Ok kids it's time to leave" my mom said
La'niyah pov
Michigan was amazing it was good to be back home and see my family and friends.
