Sorry i took so long to update! I hope you enjoy otherwise':D
--The professor for robotics was droning on today, each word slow and hardly reaching Hiro's mind. He knew most of it anyway- as it was purely a revision lecture...so he couldn't help tuning out.
He didn't have a good sleep last-night. He was kept up with thoughts of that stupid girl!"We'll be partnering up for our small robotics project we've discussed-"
The professor began, only to be cut off by a few peoples cheers and people asking if they wanted to partner up."Hey, hold up, not so fast! It isn't your decision!" The man yelled, rummaging through sheets of paper.
There was then groans and sighs as people sat back down.
Hiro sighed, slumping onto the desk.
The teacher began reading out the assigned partners
Seeing as he wasn't actually a science student, Fred was off somewhere doing his school mascot business, Honey was at a chemistry lesson and Gogo and Wasabi slowly ended up partnered with some other random people."Hiro Hamada, your partner is Y/N
L/N." The professor said, voice unchanging.Hiro vaguely recognised the name and he scanned the room, seeing a girl looking at him from the other end of the room. Her eyes flashed with surprise and shock for a fleeting moment-before she masked it, looking quickly back to the teacher.
His heart almost stopped.
Maybe he was imagining things...but she looked alot like 'No-Name'.
No.It couldn't be her. His mind was just telling him it was because he kept thinking about her. He wanted it to be her.The professor finished reading out the list, before looking at his computer screen.
"Nows a good time to be discussing things with your partner." He said.Hiro got up and made his way to the girl.
The closer he got, the more sure he was that it was her. The only different thing was the colourful clothes she wore.
And then...the giant beaming smile on her face as he approached.
No Name didn't seem to be too big on smiles lastnight..only cheeky smirks and glowers."Hello!" She chirruped.
"Uh..hey." Hiro said.
There was something slightly fake about her cheesy grin and her happy voice. He frowned, propping his pen behind his ear.
The girl patted the seat next to her vigorously, still beaming."Come on! Sit! I don't bite- usually!" She giggled, grabbing her notepad with quick hands.
This couldn't be No Name. She still very much resembled her, though..
Maybe she has a sister, Hiro thought.
The girl hummed a tune loudly- it was clear she wasn't a very good singer.
He shoved his suspicions to the back of his mind.
He wanted good grades for this essay, and it'd be best to start planning now, no matter how much of a strange nutcase his partner seemed to be so far.
He promised to stop being so lazy with schoolwork after Tadashi's death. He wanted to make his big brother proud."So, Hiro Hamada! Any ideas?" She inquired in her loud & annoyingly happy sounding voice, swinging her legs around under the desk madly. He caught a glimpse of her strange doodles in her notepad. Scrapped Ideas of what must be robotics projects crossed out in the corner..dead stickmen? This girl must have a screw loose.
Her yellow converse boots kicked Hiro in the leg ever so slightly."Uhm... No. Not yet. But i'm determined for this to be good- so no slacking, alright? I gotta pass this class." Hiro said sternly. He was beginning to believe she was one of those daydreamer weirdos who slacked on all their schoolwork- and let their partner do everything.
