America x Reader: Happy Thanksgiving!

You ran down the street in the snow, as the coldness pinched your ears. It was Thanksgiving today and you flew all the way to Denver to see Alfred again.

Ever since his birthday party for you, you two have been dating. To you, it was a fun relationship since he was funny, optimistic, and LOUD. VERY, VERY, VERY LOUD. But, you still loved the idiot.

As you opened the door you heard laughter as Alfred running to the door to try to open the already open door for you. You smiled at his attempt to be a gentleman, but since he failed you smiled even wider. You placed your hand on Alfred's warm check and kissed him on the lip as the other countries "ooh-ed" and " ahh-ed." Yeah, Alfred told you everthing about the countries and you actually had no problem with this. You saw a similar anime that Kiku had showed you and thought that would be an awesome idea.

"Did you just think 'AWESOME' liebe!" Gilbert yelled. Yep, he was here. So was Canada, even though he celebrated a similar kind of Thanksgiving on October 3, England, France, Spain, a pissed Lovino, a stone faced Germany, Italy, Hungary, Austria, even Cuba was here!

Wait Cuba!

You rushed over to Cuba and just stared at him at awe. He was eating ice cream, maybe peach or something, and continued to eat his ice cream. When he noticed that you were staring at him, you smiled and he smiled, and Alfred walked up behind you and smiled while grabbing your shoulders, and then all hell rein loose.

"You stupid American! Not you of course, (y/n), but your stupid boyfriend!" Cuba shouted. America backed away, his hands up in the air as if he was innocent, turned on his heel, and walked back into the kitchen. You sighed and laughed and found other people to talk to.

To talked with Poland and Lithuania until Alfred called out, "It's time to be Thankful!" You smiled and pulled both countries into the kitchen.

Everyone gathered around the large island Alfred had in his kitchen and held hands. You held Poland's hand on your right side, and Mexico's hand on your right side.

America began the prayer saying what he was thankful for, and then finally, closing out so everyone could eat, he said, " I am thankful for being a country so I could work with all of you ," Alfred said still in prayer until he opened his eyes and shouted," and so I could see Cuba's face when I lifted the embargo!" Alfred laughed and grabbed a plate as Cuba started cursing him out saying how he didn't need America's help.

You sat down with your plate full of over sizing and began to eat when Alfred said, "And I am thankful for you," As he kissed for forehead and sat down to begin eating.

You sly smiled and said, " You should never start a sentence with 'And' smartie!"
