Tessa

"Tessa it's been a month sweetheart." Kristen says as she hands me a plate of food. Shawn keeps trying to comfort me but I kept pushing him off.

"I'm fine, I'm back in school and I'm fine." I say. My father sighs and walks out the kitchen.

I push my plate of food away and grab my keys and leave for class.

Jacks been gone for a month, I didn't know what to do. I was in a huge state of depression and I'm finally getting a hold of myself again.

Pulling up to campus I see Sammy and Nash talking to each other. I park my car and go up to them.

"Hey guys." I say with a half smile. Nash says goodbye to Sammy and leaves.

"He hates me." I sigh and Sammy bites his lip.

"Tessa you told the kid you liked him and then fucked him over." He says.

"Sounds familiar huh?" I ask and Sammy sighs.

"How are you doing? You know with all of the things that are happening."

"I'm fine, I guess." I say and he nods.

"He's not coming back is he?" I ask Sammy and he shrugs.

"I don't think so. He contacted me a few days ago but just to cancel all his credit cards and get rid of the house he had here." He says.

"He didn't ask about m-"

"No. He didn't ask, I'm sorry." He says and cuts me off.

I sigh and take my hair out of my face. It was December and it was so cold here. There was snow covering just about everything.

"Well, I gotta get to class Tessa. See you later." Sammy says and I nod.

I head to class as well, trying to avoid eye contact with everyone.

Jack

"Mother please, let me do it." I say and my mother laughs but still doesn't let me touch the food.

"Sit down Jack, tell me more about this Tessa." She says and I half smile.

"She's amazing. She's everything any guy could want mom, I fell in love with her." I say and she smiles.

"Does she make you happy?" She asks.

"I left her mom. She's in America and I left her." I admit and she gasps.

"Jack! How could you do such a thing?" She asks. I sigh, "Mom, I'm not good for her. She needs someone that will always be there for her."

"Jack. You're in love with her, I can tell by the way your eyes shine when you talk about her." She says.

"I can't go back mom." I say. She shrugs and continues cooking.

No matter how much I wanted to go back and kiss that girl, I couldn't.

The days went by quicker and quicker. And months went by in seconds. Everything was a blur and everything was happening so quick. I almost didn't realize I missed Jack anymore.

"Babe? Tessa?" Sammy says and I groan rolling over on the bed.

"Yes?" I giggle. He lightly kisses me and smiles into our kiss.

"Ah, come on we gotta get ready for the big trip!" He says and I groan.

"Do we have to?" I ask.
