Chapter 6:"Yes"

2 months later

Ashanti~

I stumbled into my school with my shades on. Today I wore black skinny jeans, a red plaid button up shirt with these heels. My hair is bone straight I could barely stand up...I am so high, I walked holding onto the wall until my sister came and I leaned on her.

"Are you okay sis? Do you need to go to the nurse?" I snatched my arm from her and laughed.

"I am fine, I'm just.. umm what's the word?" I asked while swaying front and back.

"Tired?" I snapped my finger and pointed at her.

"Yes, that's it!" I chuckled at her while putting my hand over my mouth.  She grabbed me and  I leaned on her again, we started to walk to the cafeteria.

"Well how are you and Simone? You haven't really talked about her." Simone and I made it official two months ago, I dumped Tyrone's sorry asś after he gave me more money and now I'm with my baby.

"I love her soooo fuckinnnnnn' much sister! She makes me feel so... free." I twirled around and put my arms in the air.

"Mhmm I'm pretty sure she does" My sister said while giving me the side eye.

I stopped and told my sister I had to go to the bathroom she tried to come with me but I told her I had it... I needed another hit. I locked the bathroom door and checked all the stalls to make sure no one was in here. I took the cocaine out, I rolled up a dollar bill and took a hit. I wiggled my nose around and put the dollar bill away. I took my glasses off and looked at myself in the mirror. I proceeded to wash my hands and then put my glasses back on. As soon as I walked out of the bathroom the drugs were kicking in, I felt amazing.

Ever since  Simone and I made it official she supplies me with cocaine every week, I'm not addicted though I can stop whenever I want.

I walked into my first period and sat in the back on my phone. 30 minutes into class my annoying ass teacher decided to speak to me.

"Ms. Williams please put the phone away." I looked up at him and then looked back down and started back texting on my phone. "Ms.Williams if you want to be defiant you can leave." The class was quiet and everyone was looking at me.

"I'll leave, I'm sure you're use to women walking out anyway. Your ex wife did it." I shrugged, grabbed my purse and walked out.

I didn't want to stay here anymore so I text my sister and told her to catch a ride with my best friend today.

I walked out of school and just drove around until it was time for me to go to my internship.

Once 4 o'clock hit I was walking through the office. Something was off Naomi wasn't screaming at someone as usual..

I walked into Alyssa's office and sat down her coffee.

"How is she today?" I asked as Alyssa took a sip of her coffee.

"She's in there with a man right now.. And you know she got the room sound proof so I don't know.." Alyssa said giving me the side eye.

Naomi~

"Josh take the hint I don't want you anymore you cheated on me.." I'm currently in my office with my no good ex, he popped up with flowers and won't leave. To not cause too much of a scene I invited him into my office.

"I miss you baby you have to understand that I didn't mean to mess up you're my life girl." I looked down at my nails.

"Well it's too late for that sorry.." He got on his knees.

"Please Naomi I'll do anything!" A tear slid down my face.

"Even if I did try to forgive you and move forward I'll never get the picture out of my head of you sleeping with another woman in our bed." He lowered his head and stood up.  "I need you to leave now I have to get back to work." I said getting choked up, he walked out of my office and I burst into tears.

After finishing up my tasks for today I went to the employee bathroom and took another hit. The last thing I had to do was drop these files off to Naomi then I was out!

I said goodnight to Alyssa and carried the files into Naomi's office. I saw that her eyes were red from crying obviously.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Have you ever heard of this thing called minding your own business?" She snapped at me, she looked through the files and stood up to throw them on the floor.

"Can you get anything right?! These files are supposed to be number from one to ten."

"Alyssa didn't tell me that." I said

"Oh she didn't tell you? Well it's your fu-" I pushed her up against the wall and pinned her arms above her head.

"I swear today is not the day Naomi now unless you want me to fuck you right here on this wall leave me the hell alone." Her breathing had quickened by this point, she looked me into my eyes with her hazel ones and didn't say a word. For the first time Naomi had shut up.

I let go and was about to open the door.

"Ashanti?" I stopped dead in my tracks with my back still towards her.

"Yes?"

I know some of you are wondering why I skipped two months forward. I needed you guys to see what two months has already done to Ashanti. Plus I felt as though it should have been a while until Ashanti and Naomi got to this point... Vote
