Chapter-eleven

~Elektra's POV~

"C'mon Blackfire." I say, hopping on my bike.

"See ya at the house." I told everyone before leaving.

"Kendall I'm home!" I yell up the stairs. Not 5 seconds later I hear his little footsteps hitting the stairs. I sit on the sofa as he gets to the last step and bolts to me.

"Mommy!" He yells in happiness as the door opens. James, Kaitlyn, Amber, Romeo, my brother and his, come in the door. Not really paying attention or caring I start playing with Kendall.

"Hey little man, did you do good today?" I ask and he nods his head yes, holding out his left hand. I smile at him and shake my head no.

"I don't need to check, I believe you." I tell him, kissing his forehead. "Now, do you want to play with Blackfire?" At the sound of his name, he jumps up on the sofa.

"Is that a black fox?" Carlos asks. I nod and pick up Kendall. I walk over to my bed and set him down.

"No, mommy!" He yells, wrapping me up in his little arms.

"I'm not going anywhere, just let me go little man. I promise I won't go anywhere." I promise. He lets go and starts playing with Blackfire. I turn and look at my friends shocked faces, but two. James and Deshaun have smiles on their faces.

"What?" I ask. "Kaitlyn, Amber, you've both seen me act like that. So why are you looking so shocked?" I ask, cocking an eyebrow.

"Nothing." They say at once.

"Mmhhmm." I nods head slowly.

"When did you get this piano?" James asks.

"It came?" I ask looking over at him. He points to the piano that's below my poem on the wall, good place to put it.

"Yay!" I jump up then freeze. I just did it again, I showed I have feelings. What are these people doing to me?

"I told you." Romeo says coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Kendall get up and walk over to us.

"Daddy." He says as he wraps his little arms around Romeo's legs. Romeo picks up Kendall then gives me a questioning look.

"Why did you call him 'daddy'?" Amber asks Kendall as he wraps Romeo up in a tight hug.

"Because he's wit my mommy an I want 'im to be my daddy." Kendall hugs Romeo tighter before he reaches for me. I take him from Romeo and walk towards the bed and sit down.

"Mommy?" Kendall asks.

"What is it little man?" I look down at him.

"Can you play me a song on the new piano like you would do on the guitar?" He asks. I smile at him.

"Of course little man. What song?" I ask getting up and going to the piano. He hops up on the bench beside me.

~Romeo's POV~

"Of course little man. What song?" Elektra asks as she sits on the bench in front of the black piano. Me and the others are sitting on Elektra's sofa.

"Um... What's the name of that song on you're iPhone?" Man sometimes you forget he's only almost 6.

"Uh... Fireflies?" She asks. He nods his head.

"Yeah, that's it. Can you play that?" He asks.

"Sure." She smiles down at him and starts to play the piano. It's the most amazing sound I've ever heard.

"You would not believe your eyes, if ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep." She starts to sing. My eyes widen in surprise, whoa.

"'Cause they'd fill the open air and leave teardrops everywhere. You'd think me rude, but I would just stand and stare.

I'd like to make myself believe that planet earth turns slowly. Its hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when in asleep.

'Cause I'd get a thousand hugs from ten thousand lightning bugs, as they tried to teach me how to dance.

A foxtrot above my head. A sock-hop beneath my bed, the disco ball is just hanging by a thread.

Why do I tire of counting sheep? When I'm far too tired to fall asleep.

To ten million fireflies, I'm weird 'cause I get goodbyes. I got misty eyes as they said farewell.

But I'll know where several are if my dreams get real bizarre. 'Cause I saved a few and I keep them in a jar.

When I fall asleep." She finishes and pulls Kendall into her side. I'm still kind of in a daze. That was just amazing.

~Elektra's POV~

I pull Kendall into my side as I finished the song.

"How's that?" I ask him.

"I love it mommy! But it wasn't how you usually sing." He says excitedly. I chuckle and kiss his forehead.

"Hey, that was amazing but we have to go, pack duties call." Amber says pointing to herself, Deshaun, Kaitlyn, and Carlos.

"Okay thanks and see ya." I say giving them all a wave goodbye.

"I gotta see what the twins are up to. See ya." James says.

"Okay, see ya at dinner." I say. "Hey Kendall, wanna go up and play with James?"

"Yeah." He nods getting off the bench.

"Alright see ya little man." I get up and bend down to give him a kiss on his forehead. "Now go have fun." He runs up the stairs with James following behind him.

"So, what's on your mind?" I ask Romeo.

"Nothing really. You were great though." He says looking up at me.

"Thanks." I say as I make my way over to him, a smile on my face. But then I feel funny and stop, hoping it'll stop. Don't fall, a say in my head.

'You need sugar.' My wolf tells me.

"Elektra, are you alright?" Romeo asks coming to my side in an instant.

"Yeah, just a little dizzy. Can you get me a snickers out of the mini fridge?" I ask. He nods. I sit on the sofa, gladly taking the snickers from Romeo. I'm feeling a little better now that I've eaten some of my snickers.

"What just happened?" Romeo's concerned but confused voice asked.

"Well..."
