It was nearing ten o'clock. Your girlfriend, Ashley Frangipane, better known as Halsey, is in town for a concert for her badlands tour. Missing her is hell, it's been three full weeks without her touch and you don't know how you can take it any longer. Her laughter usually fills up the room, but now you're just here alone in bed, feeling like half of you is gone. The concert to her show in your city was sold out before Ashley even started Badlands tour, you couldn't get tickets and your school life held you back from touring with her. She has such a busy traveling schedule she can't even visit you for a few minutes after the concert. Before you knew it, it was passed 11 o'clock. You've been daydreaming of Ashley this whole time. Tears form in your eyes because all you have are pictures and a five minute skype call every week or so. Overthinking has made yourself extremely tired. Once your eyes were closed, you were out.
You're in a deep sleep now, hugging your body pillow you dream it's Ashley, holding you in your sleep.
"I love you Ashley.." You mumble.
In these dreams Ashley never responds, but this time.. She did.
"I love you more y/n" She whispered back.
It's almost like you can feel her warmth now. But you shake your head, you know it's a dream. Being aware, you become conscious again. You let out a sigh.
"I miss you." You pout, and before tears could start trailing down..
"I'm right here."
You jump slightly.
"I missed you." They add on.
You knew the voice. Ashley. She's actually here.
"Y-you're here, but I thought you-" She cuts you off.
"Don't question it."
And in an instant, her lips were pressed to yours and everything was put back into place. Her hands roamed your body, making sure you felt loved and wanted. What seemed like three seconds was three minutes, your lips parted and Ashley pulled you into a loving embrace. You could hear her heartbeat, her breathing.
The silence wasn't awkward, you enjoyed it. She was enjoying your presence and you were enjoying hers.
She held you close and protectively, one of her legs getting tangled in yours.
You felt yourself start to drift off back to sleep again.
"I'll be here with you for a week."
You made a noise in response and nodded once.
"And I love you."
You fell back to sleep to the sound of her heartbeat, and she held you close the whole night.
