Chapter 3: well I'm in trouble now!

Well me and Isabelle just got back to my camp and everyone looks like they've seen a ghost... My mom comes up and hugs me and kisses me!! "Mom stop what are you doing?" She looks at me,"I was so worried I thought you'd gotten eaten or bitten by a walker!" Oh no...now I remember I ran off and totally forgot about it! Oops!!! " I'm fine mom you don't need to worry" she sees the girl" who is this and why is she here... And did you get bitten or scratched or anything!" I help mom up and rub circles on her back, "Mom I'm fine and this is Isabelle I saved her from 3 walkers, right Isabelle?" She smiles widely at my mom, "Yeah, your son is very brave he saved me and asked me if I wanted to stay here and live with you so that I could survive!" My mom looks proud of me but also kind of scared that if there were 3 walkers down there then that means that there might be more..I was scared of the same thing after I had killed those walkers. I see Shane walking up to me and I feel a sharp bad pain in my cheek when he reaches me...HE JUST SLAPPED ME!! I fall backwards on the ground and Isabelle and my mom help me up...my mom looks mad!! "What the heck Shane, you just slapped my son what's wrong with you!!" Shane looks mad as well, "that stupid a** kid of yours ran off to the middle of the woods and came across walkers! The worst part is that he went without me or Glenn or someone to keep himself safe!" I can hear Isabelle crying because she's scared of Shane. "Shut up Shane, I'm fine and I had my gun...I'm not a baby I can take care of myself... If you want to know who's the baby maybe you should go have a long look in a mirror" Shane can tell I'm not scared of him and that I mean what I say. He takes a long sigh and scratches the back of his neck. "I just wish you had told us that you were leaving and I also wish that you would respect us." I am still kinda mad but I forgive him for being worried about me...if I were him I'd be worried about me too! "It's okay Shane I'm sorry about what I said but I just really would like it if you'd stop treating me like a baby....I'm 16 I can take care of myself when I go for walks in the woods! And if it weren't for me, Isabelle would be either a walker or just a dead person. But luckily I saved her and now we have more help she can help us with a lot of stuff!!".
