chapter 8: the big surprise!

Carl's POV:
 
I can't wait till tonight's bonfire! I'm gonna ask Isabelle a very special question. I'm gonna give her a very special gift that I learned how to make all by myself...it took me hours to plan all this stuff and I'm still not done making it perfect! What do I do!! I don't have everything done and I only have 30 minutes till the bonfire!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Oh my god...oh my god!! *Carl runs to tent and grabs present and the flowers for Izzy...* I'm just running down the camp area and I run into Izzy...we both fall backwards on our butts! We both look at eachother and start cracking up! "Ha-ha you OK Izzy?" Her eyes are even prettier up close, "Yeah I'm fine...don't worry about it..what's up...you look like your in a hurry..." I bite my bottom lip and notice I've dropped the box with the ring I made for her! I get down n my knees and look around for it! Oh no!! Oh no!! Oh no!!! I've got find that ring!! I notice Izzy bend down and pick something up..."hey Carl what's this...it looks like a present for someone...is someone's birthday coming up?" Oh no!! She found the box! I try to reach for it but then immediately stop myself... I can't rip the box out her hands! What's wrong with me! "Oh um...its um...my moms birthday that's coming up soon...but um...no one can see the present I gave her! Not even you can see the present!" She laughs at my face that is red hit right now..."OK sheriff I won't look at the present" she hands the box back to me...and I grab the box and run away...

Izzy's POV:

That was really weird Carl has been acting really weird around me lately...I hope I didn't do anything wrong! Oh my god what if he hates me and that's why he's acting so weird!! Nooo!! I can't have that cute little sheriff hate me!! He so sweet...and well..he's so cute! I would love to kiss him...but f course I'm too scared I'm just a little scaredy cat baby! I would never have the courage to kiss him...let alone ask him out...ugggg what's wrong with me!I pull out the iPod that I still have from before the zombie apocalypse, I put on my favorite song called...Boomerang...I love this song and I always sing along to it. I'm just listing to my song for the 5th time and notice people looking at me...my face turns bright red and I immediately stop singing...Rick looks at me, "hey don't stop your really good at singing...we haven't heard singing like that since 2000 which was like 17 years ago!" I blush and nod...then...being the dork I am start singing again! Everyone claps when I'm done and I just blush...then I put on my other favorite song called... English Love Affair by: 5 Seconds of Summer.... I love this song so much and I start singing again! Everyone claps for me again...and we keep doing that until I'm all out of songs! Oh no!! I totally forgot about the bonfire! I run to the bonfire and sit by Glenn...but Carl walks over to me and asks me to sit by him! Yay! This means he's not mad at me! We just hang out for a while then Carl turns to me and says some really amazing words..." Hey um... Izzy... I was just wondering..." He pulls out a small box that looks like it could hold about 1 or 2 rings..."I was wondering if u would be my girlfriend?" Oh my god! Did he just say what I think he said...he did!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! "Of course I will!!!" He laughs and I lean close and kiss him right smack on his lips! Did I just do that?? Oh my god I did!! Yay!!! I thought he wouldn't think of me the same way...wow do I feel stupid!

Carl's POV:

I just asked Isabelle out and I gave her the special ring I made just for her! The ring has a special carving in it and it says, "I love you to the moon and back" she also kinda sorta kissed me right smack on my lips! I can't believe that Isabelle Cloud is now my official girlfriend! Oh my god!! I'm so happy right now that I could jump right into that fire just because I can't sit still right this moment! I just hope nothing happens to us...like where we have a big fight that makes us break up! That would be awful because she is my whole life and she is my whole soul...I couldn't stand being away from her ever! She's all I ever think about! Oh god! She's singing now! Wow her voice is so beautiful...she's such a great singer...her voice makes me  think of... Well actually her voice makes me think that she's the whole package...beautiful, sweet, loving, and a wonderful singer. I've always wanted a great singer for a girlfriend so that every night when we would go to sleep,she could sing to me as we cuddle and then when she would finish singing I would tell her that I loved her and then we'd both fall asleep in each others arms and just lay there peacefully asleep as we dream about each other! But I'll save that for later!

Sorry guys if this chapter was either too short or too long but I just had so much to write and I couldn't stop thinking of more ideas and I think I had too much creativity...cause every time I wrote something I would find something else to add and that just went on like for 3 hours until I finally ran out of ideas! Lol I hope u like this chapter as much as I did!m I could not sit still nor could I stop smiling!! It was just so funny and exciting to have finally found an idea for this chapter!! I had writer's block for like 2 whole days until today when I finally figured out what to write about!! I could absolutely not stop freaking out every time I started to write more in this chapter!!
