-Chapter 1

Pitch black, red moon, and freezing wind, the setting of most of children’s worst nightmares. Nightmares would seem like a sweet dream compared to this, the air smelled of blood and the moon had a shade that matched. The best way to describe this night was Bloody. The forest surrounding the village was clocked in darkness. The village next store looked like a scene straight of a horror movie, dead bodies, fire, and blood cloaking it all.

~Adams POV

“Uggh, I’m so bored.”

I whispered to myself of I walked along a strange passage in the forest. I’m not sure what brought me here tonight, but ether way I was here. The night wasn’t the most pleasant night tonight, but things like that never bothered me. I enjoyed walks at night and for some reason I seemed to be a lot calmer when I took walks. I don’t exactly end up in forests all the time, so that’s what confused me.

As I continued to walk along the path, I started to smell a metallic smell, blood? As I walked I can upon a small village, wait there was a village here? Since when? My eyes widened when I saw the seen in front of me, everyone was died and not even that they were killed in the most pain ways I could think of. Some had their limbs ripped off and others had their throats ripped out.

“What the hell happened here?”

After looking at the scene and smelling the blood I just had to throw up, how could this happen. Without thinking I ran through the forest, my lungs felt as if they were going to explode. But of course that didn’t stop me; I had to get out of here. I was beginning to hyperventilate when my gaze landed on something wasn’t what I wouldn’t expect to see.

                Sitting under a bare tree was a young girl. She was curled in a ball with her knees to her chest. Her face was buried in her knees, but the thing is she didn’t seem to be sobbing.  She wore a white dress and it seemed to have blood on it. Her feet were bare foot. But most of all she just looked,
