-Chapter 3

~ Isabell’s POV

After walking for a while we finally got what I expected to be A’s cabin. It was so cool; there were things that I’ve never seen before. I haven’t been out of that room in my whole life, tonight was the first time I’ve seen those things up above and the first time I’ve felt the touch of someone else. Everything was so new, so amazing. I’ve never knew anything, anyone, so having A here and seeing all of this

“Um, A. What’s the thing up above us?”

~A’s POV

I looked down at her, I was confused, what did she mean the “thing up above us”? Did she mean the sky? No I mean she would know what the sky is wouldn’t she? I mean she said that she was locked up. What made her to be locked up? Why did everyone hate her? Why was she the only one to survive? And what did I get myself into? I mean I couldn’t leave her there and her eyes, they are just like mine, they seem to be alone, frozen.

“Do you mean the sky?” I pointed up as I spoke.

“Y-yes, it’s so pretty and it’s bright. And then it has those other shinny things in it.”

“Well, yes that’s the sky. It changes at certain times. It can look like this or it can be blue when there’s lots of light.”

“Ahh, so cool! But what’s light?”

I had to think for a while, what exactly is light? After thinking for a while I thought I had some kind of explanation as to what light is.

“Light is something that’s bright and it helps us see. It’s hard to see in the dark, like now it’s hard for me to see because I need light.”

“B-but A, I can see just fine right now, I can see everything.”

“You can?”

She nodded at me. I mean how she could see in the dark, maybe she had good eye sight. But maybe there really was a reason she was locked up there. Either way I’m not leaving this girl, she has nowhere to go and no one to care for her. And something about her just wants to make me stay with her. I know she would die and leave me one day but I was willing to risk my feelings for spending her life with me. Wait a minute, why do I care so much for this girl? I just met her and above all outside a slaughtered village.

After walking for a bit we got to my cabin, I mean it wasn’t really a cabin, I guess. It was pretty big and looked like a regular manor, they outside had the forest surrounding it and as we walked closer I noticed the wide excited eyes of Isabell, I guess she hasn’t seen a manor before. I guess living a long life has its perks I mean I never have to worry about money now, but still seeing people die as I stayed twenty years old defiantly over weighs the perks. I’ve seen so many wars, so many conflict and so much death, I don’t want this girl to leave with the rest of them.

“This is amazing A! Do all people have rooms like this?!”

I smirked at her question her clue nesses is sort of cute. I mean she called my manor a room, I guess it makes sense since she has only known that room her whole life. Suddenly I was enraged with that village how could they keep a girl like her locked up?! I mean I’ve been with her for hours and nothing has happened to me.

“This is called a home, and no not exactly not all peoples homes are the same.”

“So yours is different then the others? So that means my home was my room then?”

“No that is not a home, I will show you a home, doing that to you and keeping you there, that place has no right to be called a home.”

The words came out harsher then I meant to but I was just so mad at what they did to this girl. I gave her a pat on the head after I finished my ramble.  I smiled at her and continued walking inside my house.

~Isabell’s POV

I thought A was mad at me but then he smiled and ruffled my hair, I liked when he did that I felt close to him. As I walked I hugged his shoulders a little tighter. As we walked I started to smell something that smelt really good. Not after long we were inside, the home was amazing! It had the colors black, white and red. It also had a huge room and things that went upward and were zing-zangy.

After looking everything I didn’t know but I blacked out, I didn’t know what was going on.

~A’s POV

I don’t know what was going on before I could react, I was pushed to the ground and Isabell was on top of me. I felt a stabbing pain in my neck and I could feel myself getting weaker. What was going on? My eyes widened as I released what was going on, Isabell was drinking my blood. The reason they locked her up was because she was a,

Vampire.
