"So what did you do over Christmas break" I asked (an: for australia after christmas break which is about 4 weeks ish you go into the next grade I think idek I asked my cousin)

"Nothing really exciting, I mostly just hung out with my friends" he replied

"That kid Calum right" I asked looking over at him

"Yeah hes a  good friend" he said

"He seems really nice, we've exchanged hellos a few times" I said

He nodded.

My text ringtone went off.

1 New Message- Sassy Squrd: Hey bro r u on ur way to skewl yet? -Mya

I have this really annoying group message with my 7 best friends. Megan, Mya, Emily, Gianna, Alivia, Sarah, amd Zara, and myself Violet. We call ourselves the Sass Squad. Or as Zara types it the Sassy Squrd. I had to turn my text notifications off beacause we texted so much.

"Sorry my friend is texting me" I said to Luke

"Its fine" he said just as his ringtone went off.

"Now my friends texting me" he said chuckling

Yeah I left my house a few mins ago im walking with luke - Violet

I smiled and rolled my eyes as I  turned my phone off amd put it in the backpack.

Just I as turned to Luke he already did the same.

"So what teacher do you want for homeroom" Lule asked

"Hmm, probably Mrs.Revlon, I heard shes really nice" I replied

"Yeah I think my brother had her, I hope to get Mr.Urie, I heard he almost never gives homework and he plays guitar in class sometimes" Luke said

"Oh my sister had him, she said if they behaved he would play guitar and sing, she said hes a really good singer'
I said.

"Oh really? Thats cool. I didnt know he could sing" Luke replied.

I nodded in response.

"So how yours sass squatch thingy going?" He asked chuckiling

I rolled my eyes. Since I can remeber Luke was always callimg the Sass Squad the Sass Squatch. Everh single time.

"It going fine, the group messages are so annyoing I left like 5 of them but Megan keeps on adding me again and again!" I say laughing

"Does Mya still call me the Blond Giraffe?" Luke asked seriously (A/n when I was doing this part giraffe auto corrected tk Gordon and I was like HOLY SHITAKIMUSHTOOMS DKSHDIAHS)

"Yeah, I know you like her but I don't know if she likes you back, she always brushes off the topic" I say

I know Mya likes him but I promised not tell him. She would literally kill me.

Luke had liked Mya for a really long time. She had the same blond hair and blue eyes. A great sense of humor too.

"Oh" he looked at the ground.

"So whats your favourite band right now?" I asked

He looked up smiled.
