There were kids--a boy and a girl--playing in a park, rushing back and forth on the tiny grass hills.

They ran between the trees as the wind began to blow harder, causing them to fall down. They looked into each other eyes and they leaned in for a kiss... it seemed so sweet and innocent.

But then another girl came running down the hill, crying.

She ran up the boy, screaming, yelling things that I couldn't hear. It was as if I was watching a movie that I didn't want to see.

It hurt.

Seeing that scene made my stomach turn and I felt as if there was a knot in throat, yet I couldn't understand why. I covered my ears as a searing pain began to spread throughout my body. I couldn't hear anything but a loud, high pitch sound that I couldn't make out. And then I could hear my name being called out.

Kaylee... Kay... KAY-

A pillow hit my head and I woke up to see my grandma standing in front of me.

"Ugh, Oma why?" I rubbed my eyes so I could see better. "I can wake up by myself ya' know."

"Schlafmütze," she shook her head, "you sleep in way too much!"

She headed over towards the window and I knew exactly what she was doing.

"Oh mein Gott, Oma no!" I covered my eyes preparing for the torture. "Oma I swear to God, if you do what I think you're going to do-"

She opened the blinds as wide as possible letting a bright, white light shine into my room. I groaned, grabbed the pillow that she had hit my head with, and covered my face as fast as I could. She knows that I hate it when she does that!

"What is with the early morning torment?" I said, my voice sounding muffled through the pillow. "Is it raise hell on your granddaughter day?"

"Oh mein kleines mädchen," my Oma laughed and snatched the pillow from my face, "is someone tired because they came back late last night?"

My eyes narrowed. "I wasn't that late."

"You woke Opa and I up at twelve in the morning when you slammed your door," she sat next to me on the bed and patted my head. "You must have a good time to stay out that late..."

"Yeah I did," I smiled to myself. The memories from the other night came flooding back; playing FIFA with guys, taking weird selfies with Josh and Vikk, my weird conversation with Ethan, and much fun it was to make video with Si-- OH MY GOSH!

"MY VIDEO!" I ran towards my laptop that sat on the small dining table in the other room near the entrance way. "PLEASE TELL ME THE VIDEO UPLOADED!"

As desperately moved my finger across the mouse pad to try to get my laptop to turn back on, my grandma made her way over to the kitchen area across from the TV. I looked her over from I was sitting and saw that she had brought the food up from breakfast that morning. I had always admired that about my Oma; she always had this thing with wanting to take care of me. I guess it was because I was her first grandchild or something.

"Well my video uploaded, which means that I'm gonna have to tweet it out soon," I got up and walked up behind her and grabbed a piece of bacon of the tray she had. "Thanks for this by the way. Now what did you want from me again?"

She explained to me that she and my grandpa were going to the mall later to go my him a new pair of shoes, which wasn't surprising. Back before I had started going to college, when he and my Oma came to visit the first thing he would do is buy a new pair of Nikes or K-Swiss. That was one of the reasons I loved it when my grandparents visted-- I got infinite amounts of shoes.
