Chapter 1
"Look Jaida, it's just not working, Okay!? Why can't you understand that? Our relationship has run its course.....IT IS OVERR!, screamed David Harrington III, as he packed his bags to walk out of my life forever. He had been my high school sweetheart, and I hoped one day to be Mrs. Jaida Ohana Harrington, but that dream was short-lived when I came home from shopping to find the house ransacked, and David packing. "What ever I did wrong, we can fix this. I Love You David!", I said as tears rolled down my cheeks. I had truly loved this man more than anything else in this world, and to find that he was leaving me sent my perfect world crashing down before my eyes. I'd given myself to him even though I promised my parents to save myself for marriage. I thought that would make him happy. I should have suspected something when I came home one day from shopping to find him in the arms of another woman, but I quickly forgave him. I loved him. I thought we would be together forever. I guess all naive girls believe that when they fall in love for the first time. I guess I was no different. David had come from the very dominant Harrington Family. They were just a bunch of rich snobs that lived in a secluded estate in the heart of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They drove Mercedes-Benz, lived in mansions, and had maids, chauffeurs, and a whole town devoted to them. Harrington was a small but expensive little town in Calgary, where you were lucky to even get a house in the lowered-rent section. We, the Hardaways, lived down about 3 blocks from the Harrington Estate. David and I both attended Carter Cambridge High School, which was where we met in 9th grade. Our first date was in a limo, and our first year anniversary was spent on a private yacht. We seemed destined to marry out of high school, since ALL of the Harrington men married out of high school. Oh well, I guess tradition had to fall down the stairs and break its neck someday. I just didnt think it would be so close to our "Big Day". "We are engaged David for crying out loud! Are you kidding me!" , I managed to spit out at him. "Not anymore.", he said coldly and threw the keys to our home on the table, and walked out of the door.
OKAY GUYS THAT WAS CHAPTER 1, I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKED IT! LET ME KNOW IF I SHOULD GO FOR CHAPTER 2. PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. I WANT TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS. THANKS =D
