What Was Left Of Her

    I can hear Mom came running upstairs followed by Diana.That's all I can remember before I fell on to the ground!
    I remembered hearing a faint shout and a cold sensation of water on my face,I shook and suddenly came to myself.

I seemed to have lost myself for 20 minutes or so.I prayed that all that made me faint was a dream but sadly it wasn't.Yes she is dead!Yes she was murdered!Yes she is Charlotte Dele'que and yes she is my sister!
     That was what I recalled telling the Detectives and policemen who started questioning me.

Tears flew down my face like an Eagle in the white sky.I trembled and I stood stunned by what had happened.Char is dead!Thats all I could remember and think about.
    
Mom was crying loudly and screaming,Diana was quiet and I lay on the floor staring at the police who are now putting my sister in a white plastic bag,a big one,as they are taking her away.
 
   After a few hours,I regained sanity as well as my mom and alive sister.They both stopped crying but they looked weak.I can also see a few neighbours comforting them and the Detectives trying their best to interrogate them and me.All of this happened so quickly.All of this happened in a flash.

      As the police interrogated my mother,I sat in the corner trying to recall what really happened.

Yes it was a Saturday morning,a beautiful day,sun was shinning and everything was calm and quiet.
Mom woke me up at 7 and I went up to call Charlotte.When Char did not reply,I went to check on her."YES!" I thought to myself,her door was not locked!I opened the door,walked slowly towards her and tapped her shoulder.

She was on a Chair,in her pink night gown and was sitting facing the big window opposite the door and me,as if she was looking at the beautiful blue sky outside but...

    I went infront of her to check,Yes she looked hoorible!I saw something which my 11year old eyes had never ever seen!The most scary,real,face to face encounter with an unimaginable scene!

     She had no face left,there were flesh and blood hanging from ear to ear!It was all red!One eye was even dangling out of position!I could see teeth and gums were also out!Scratches,blood,deep cuts...that's all I can remember before falling to the ground.

     One last thing which I could remember was that Charlotte had a destroyed face alright but there was not any other bruise,or cut,or bleeder,or any sign of tampered part other than her face.This was really mysterious!
