Who Killed Her?

What The Doctors Say

It has been a month now,and all the fuss and rumours had started to disappear until...

(phone rang): I could hear mom hurried downstairs to pick the phone as she was expecting them.Yes, she was expecting the CBI forensic docters to call,the ones who did a postmortem on Charlotte's dead body.

I could hear her picking up the phone and spoke words like "yes,yes...yes I understand",and so on.She put the landline phone back and called Diana downstairs.She did not call me as I was still young at that time(eventhough I understand many things).But I went down as well.She told Diana and me that the reports are in and that we had to go to the hospital tomorrow.

Next morning Mom,Diana and me all went in our red coloured XUV towards the city hospital.As we approached HOPE's CITY HOSPITAL(HCH),mom warned us both to keep all that we will know and hear to ourselves.She told us not to give out a single piece of information to anyone.We said Yes,so we went inside the hospital and went to the third floor where the office of the Chief in Postmortem and Forensics was.We sat outside and mom was called in.

It was 25 minutes and mom still did not come out.I think this was really serious,so I being the mischevious and cunning one told Diana(who was busy with her cell phone) that I needed to go to the toilet.I left.

The office where mom was in had a backdoor and to my pleasure and surpize it was not locked!I quickly sneeked in!

It let me to a small study room filled with books and a skeleton and the room was dark.There was another door from it and I assumed that it was the door leading to the main office.I quickly turned the knob but sadly this was not opened as the previous one!That was the sad part but happily it really was the door connecting to the main office as I could hear them talking in the next room.It was mom's voice and a few men.

I quickly bent down and peeked through the key hole.I could see mom,a policeman(oviously a Detective) and two doctors.They were talking and talking,on and on.I listened carefully...

"You see Ma'am,this could not have been done on that exact day,according to the reports it happened the day befor,between 9p.m and 1a.m at night" said the senior Doctor.

They went on. "The face according to the reports had been damaged by a heavy object like a heavy rock and then was tampered by other sharp objects.As for the other parts of the body,no mark or infliction was there."

My mom shook her head and noded as to say that she does not like the details.She also asked a question,"But doctor,how was she really killed?"

The doctor answered,"Oh yes Ma'am,I'm so sorry to say that your daughter died due to suffocation caused by winding a wire around her throat which caused her lungs to collapse resulting in her death"

The Detective also asked the doctors if they found an other marks on her body other than that but the Doctor confirmed by saying No!

It was getting quite interesting until I heard a loud sound of someone closing the door behind me.I ran back to the small library room to check the door but it was locked!I got so scared that sweat was falling down my spine and I was shaking.I could hear mom starting to finish her appointment and she was starting to leave  from the other side of the door.I turned into a panic strickened deer!

Thankfully someone did open the door from outside and it was Diana.She screamed at me and asked me what the hell was I doing there but I just got out of there and told her to run back to where mom was!

"I'll explain everything later,for now lets go back before mom sees us missing"
