Chapter 1

Ryla's POV

In the middle of the night Nyla started to cry and I want sure why. I turned over in the bed towards her but she wasn't there. Just then I jumped out my bed looking for her and found her on the floor, she must've fallen out of bed I thought to myself. I picked her up and we went down stairs to get some juice. KaeShun was sitting on the couch with some girl but I payed her no mind. I sat Nyla on the floor and went to get her bottle and gave it to her. I sat down on the island in the kitchen with this same girl looking at me while KaeShun was on his phone.

"And you are?" I said.

"Cassey" she said.

KaeShun looked at me but didn't say anything then he returned to his phone. She looked at his phone but he turned another direction.

"Oh ok. So you and my brother? Yaal cute or w.e shawty" I said smiling.

"Thank you, we've been told that already. What's your name and who's the little girl?"

KaeShun ignored us but looked at me mean mugged when I said him and Cassey was cute. It was funny so shit I laughed.

"Well first off baby girl yaal not ACTUALLY cute that's where the whatever part came in. Second my name is Ryla if you must know. Third the little girl name is Nyla, my child."

KaeShun laughed and told her he'll see her later. "Bye baby" she said. He pointed to the door but she tried to give him a kiss. My brother swiff game was strong lol. After that she left while looking at me mad. I laughed and said "bye darling" as I scooped Nyla up. I went into my room and put her on the bed checking my phone when my Iphone 6s LED flash started flashing. It was now 3:54 and I school the next day but King text me, you know I had to answer him.
***Conversation***
Daddy King: Baby you up ?
Mami Ry: Yes bae , whaas up ?
Daddy King : Nothing me and madukes ain agreeing rn I'm finna come to ya .
Mami Ry: Okaay , KaeShun down stairs he'll open the door I'm putting Nyla to sleep .
Daddy King : Ok princess , be there in 10.
Mami Ry: Ok .

My bestfriend from back home had texted me at 9 last night but a nigga was knocked out! So I texted her back sending her a picture of Nyla because that's what she wanted. It's 4am here meaning it's 7am there. She probably was at school or something. So when she didn't text back I wasn't stressing it.

King came through the door and opened his big mouth and Nyla was up... AGAIN! I was excited till she jumped and started crying all over again. I mean mugged him "Don't worry about it baby I got her." "Ok." He kissed me and I kissed him back and I went off to sleep and after me was King and Nyla. She was laying on her daddy chest, yes that's right I said her daddy because Chris ain't shit and you can tell him and his mama I said the shit!

Crystal's POV

Hey. I'm Crystal Brooke, Ry's bestfriend from down home. I sure miss her! Everyone do. I know she's 3 hours behind from ATL ever since she moved to Cali. My birthday is in 2 weeks and I won't even be able to see her! It sure won't be the same without her stupid ass. Enough sob, stories I'm 17 in the 12th grade also. I was thinking about RyRy then my phone flashed... It was Ryla !

My bestfriend is the best man I swear! I texted her one last time i knew she was sleep tho. Before I took my late ass to class I saw Cherish. The bitch that I can't stand. She knew I wanted to fight her but then she wanted to be all "buddy buddy". She rolled her eyes at me and did a hard ass brush pass me like she was DeBo off Friday or some shit. I been waiting for this very special moment! Then it came true. With my uncle being the principle and my aunt the assistant principle I wasn't worried bout shit. I went and handled mine. Straight Molly Wopped that hoe! Fuck she thought?

I was sent to my uncle's office but he wasn't there neither was my aunt so I walked my late happy ass to class. When I walked in everybody was like "There my bitch go!!" I giggled and sat down. Mrs. Highwater asked why I wasn't in the office so I told her. "My aunt and uncle isn't there so I came back "she looked at me and said "Ohh ok just don't start no shit in here. Got me?" I smiled "Gotcha.!" I replied. Mrs. Highwater was cool as a bihh but she still wore high waters 3 days out the week. Her name is Mrs.Moss though.
