Wishing if someone one could only?
Save you from this awful mess.
No matter how you look or dress.
Waiting for that fateful day,
To hear someone come and say.
To bring you close and hold you tight.
To love you always with all their might.
Or have someone like a friend.
Who'll stay there until the end.
Someone who'll always care.
Someone who's secrets you can share.
Although you think that this can't be.
