What Austin looks like ^
I open my eyes to see the stranger pacing across the room, his hand frantically skidding through his brown locks. He looks to my figure. Noticing I'm awake, he walks over to the chair beside me, sitting down. My eyes trail his moving body. "What was that? In the store?" He wonders as he looks down.
"That was nothing, you can leave now." I say, venom in my voice. He looks at me with a confused expression. "Something happened" he said looking into my green eyes. I look away and stare at the wall. "Just forget about it" I snap, still looking at the wall. "I helped you, I deserve a reason why that whole thing happened"
"I didn't ask for your help" he looks down the moment I look back at him. I get up, pulling all of the chords off my body. "Hey woah woah woah what are you doing?" The stranger jumps to his feet and runs over to me. "I'm leaving" I reply as I find my clothes and put them on. "Umm..." He looks uncomfortable and turns around.
I give myself a satisfied smirk as I put on my jeans and t-shirt. I grab ahold of my boots and slap them over my feet after putting socks on. I gotta admit I'm surprised the stranger didn't keep watching, most guys would. Maybe he's gay I thought to myself. I walk passed him and out of the hospital, the nurses not noticing that I'm leaving.
As I thought, the stranger followed. "Okay if you won't tell me anything then tell me your name" he demands. "Aubrey" I exhale, my feet stomping on the sidewalk. "I'm Austin" he exclaims, following my fast paste. "So why are you in a rush? And where is your parents? The nurse said you don't have any number on your emergency list" he questions.
"Why are you asking so many questions?" I ask. "Do you always answer questions with questions?" He asks exaggeratedly. I look up at him, a blank expression on my face. "Look, I just want to know what happened, who those guys were, why they were chasing you." He states. I groan in annoyance.
"Dude, just go away I don't care what you want to know, you won't know anything. You didn't have to help, that was your decision. Now if you excuse me I'm going to leave and you're going to go back to your extravagant life." I snap at him. I begin to walk away but feel a hand wrap around my arm, pushing me against a hard chest. I roll my eyes, staring up at him.
"Can I at least talk to you?" He questions, looking into my eyes. I don't like the feeling that's bubbling up in me when he does so, making me look down. "No" I walk away, happy he isn't following this time. I turn around to see him staring me down with an unknown expression etched on his face.
I ignore him and the random feeling I get just thinking of him and sit down on the curb. Watching as cars rush in front of me. I shut my eyes, allowing myself to get lost in the smoke filled aroma of roaring engines. Something I've done for a while now, and come to love.
