I walked home in silence, barely processing what just happened. The snow falling from the sky and onto the ground made me shutter. I was almost home, and I couldn't wait to just crawl into my bed and just lay there.

I soon got home and was greeted by Sam, with one of his friends, playing his XBOX game. They sat on the couch, shouting at the T.V. I took my shoes off, went to the kitchen, and decided to make some Ramen Noodles. As much as I wanted to just crawl into my bed and lay in my own embarrassment, I had to feed myself and Sam. I quickly made some Ramen and put some in three bowls. I picked my bowl up and shoved some into my mouth. It tasted amazing, mostly because I loved Ramen.

"Sam! There's some food out here!" I shouted to my brother and his friend. The shouting stopped as I heard footsteps coming from the living room. Soon, I saw Sam and his friend enter the kitchen. They grabbed their bowls and shoved their food into their mouths.

"Thanks sis." He said and shoved some more in his mouth. I nodded and finished off my Ramen, putting the empty bowl in the sink. I washed out the bowl and put it in the dishwasher. I then walked into the living room and to my room. I took off my jeans and shirt and threw on a long sleeved shirt and some sweatpants. I washed off my makeup and took my hair out of a neat ponytail and into a messy bun. I look like a mess, but I didn't really care. I laid in my bed and looked up towards the ceiling, thinking about the kiss me and Gerard almost shared. I couldn't believe that my teacher would even try to kiss me. I tried to go to sleep, but I couldn't stop twisting and turning, thinking of him. After what felt like hours, I fell into a dream, that I strangely wished wasn't a dream.

I woke up with the sun shining through my window. I covered my face with a blanket and stretched. I slowly got up and went to my bathroom, looking at the face it front of me. My eyes had bags under them and my hair looked like a rats nest. I decided to take a shower to make me look better and to try to get me less stressed. I turned on my shower and stripped off my clothes. I stepped in and let the warm water wash away my problems. I washed my hair, face, and then body. I felt clean and better. I turned off the shower and stepped around, wrapping a towel around my hair and my chest. I looked in the mirror and I looked better than I did before. I brushed my teeth and took my hair out of a towel. I brushed my hair and put it in a cute, yet messy, ponytail. I then put my underwear and bra on and then I put on a hoodie and jeans. Today was a day to just lay back and rest, but as soon as I went downstairs, I was greeted by Sam and his friends whining.

"Maddy...can you go to the store please?" He asked me in a whiny tone.

"Why?" I asked and he sighed.

"Because we are out of food." He complained. I went to the kitchen and opened the counter, being greeted by some bags of stale chips and some popcorn. I went to the fridge and opened it, realizing that Sam was right. There was a few slices of cheese, a package of ham, and some expired milk. I groaned because I didn't really want to go to the store today.

"Fine, but just eat this for now. I'll be back in a little bit." I said, and handed him some crackers. He caught them and opened them up, scruffing them down as fast as he could. I grabbed some money from my moms money jar and went out the door. Lucky for me, we lived about a block from the store. I walked down the drive way and was to the store in a matter of minutes. I went through the automatic doors and grabbed a cart. I went through the aisles, picking out the stuff that we needed. I was halfway down aisle number 7 when I looked up and saw the person that I wanted to see, but I was also scared to see.

There was Gerard, standing in front of the cans of soup, and admiring the soup. I quickly put my head down, hoping he won't notice me. I quickly went past him, but he noticed me anyway.

"Maddy?" He asked as I stopped in my tracks. I looked up and noticed his eyes on me. He was wearing a dress shirt and some dress pants. He looked hot.

"Y-Yes?" I stuttered out.

"Listen...I'm sorry for what happened yesterday." He explained with apologetic eyes. I stared back at him and looked down, fiddling with my thumbs.

"It's okay...but I...ummm." I tried to say what I wanted to, but I couldn't get it out.

"What is it?" He asked me, suddenly appearing closer to me. I looked up at his eyes, meeting his gaze. I could feel myself leaning in, and he was leaning in too.

"Should we be doing this?" I asked, right before our lips touched.

"Do you want to do this?" He answered, and I couldn't say no, because I wanted to do this. I leaned in and we kissed, cliche fireworks going off behind us. The kiss lasted seconds, but I wanted more. We pulled away and stared into each others eyes.

"That was amazing." He said and smirked.

"That was amazing....but I need some time to adjust, I'm not sure if I can do this right now." I told him, giving him the best smile I could. He nodded and grinned back.

"I understand..do you need a ride home?" He asked me. I nodded, not sure if my decision was going to turn out good or bad.
