Chapter 11

Mid December,lunch at West City High

" I can't believe Basketball tryouts are already here." Krillin told the gang as they sat at their usual spots at the table.

Time sure did pass by quickly. It was as if it was only yesterday when it was the first day for school, the gang was just getting use to not being able to go out as much as they use to during the summer.

Me neither.

Bulma thought as she looked up at Vegeta. She still hadn't told him about how she's being going to basketball intramurals secretly.

In fact, he still thought she was going to her student government meetings on Mondays and Thursdays. She's also been going to her brother's to practice as well so she'll know what to expect.

" Yeah, and this time the coaches are having tryouts for the boys and girls at the same time."

Chi chi and Bulma looked at each other for a quick second before looking away.

This didn't go unnoticed by 18 but she decided it wasn't any of her business to know anyway.

" So, what position are you trying out for this year you guys?" Goku said he wanted to be shooting guard just like he always was.

In fact, Goku was actually one of the best shooting guards the school has ever had. His percentage was a whopping 83% while Vegeta's was a 79%.

But even though Goku shot slightly better than Vegeta, Vegeta was the best ball handler in the school.

From his crossovers to alley-oops this guy was a monster!

" So Vegeta, you're gonna play PG just like last time?"

This time Goku asked the question. Vegeta scoffed as he gave a prideful grin.

" What else would I be?"

Bulma giggled which caught Vegeta's attention.

" And what's so funny, woman?"

Bulma glared at him, for the unwanted nickname he called her once in while, before she answered.

" It's nothing."

It was a simple answer, though the real answer is that she found it quite a coincidence that her and Vegeta wanted the same position.

" Well I'll be there to cheer for you guys since I'm cheer captain and all." Chi chi gloated, with her chin held high.

"Me too." 18 said in a less depressed tone then usual.

She was the co-captain of the cheer team which was surprising since she wasn't the peepy type nor was she was as cheerful Chi chi was on a daily basis.

You'd be surpise how being a cheerleader can change a person's demeanor.

" Ok..."

Krillin had the same smile as the guy who made the ok vine the moment his girlfriend said that she was going to be cheering.

He half expected her to yell insults at them instead of cheer for them. It's not that Juu's a rude person,well not most of the time,it's just normal for her.

Moments later Zarbon and his crew, along with Marron, walked into the cafeteria. The cafeteria was quiet momentarily before people started chatting again.

" Why, isn't it Vegeta and his squad?" Zarbon taunted as him and Marron walked over to the gang.

The table sighed at the same time.
