A'Mya,

I rose up out of bed, by the sound of someone knocking on the door. I got up and put my robe on, grabbed my bat, and walked to the door. When I opened the door I looked around and didn't see anyone, there was just a paper hanging on my door. I ripped the paper off an read it. This is what it said.

Dear A' Mya Jacobs,

Sorry to inform you , but you are being evicted from this apartment.
You are behind on your bills and, you told us that you would pay them all last week. You have not payed you electricity bill or water bill, and we cannot keep letting you be behind on your bills.
You are to be out by the end of the day.
Thanks have a blessed day!

Shit! I threw the eviction notice on the floor.
" I don't have anywhere else to go, and they don't even care!" A'Mya screamed.

Mommy? A' Mari said.
Yes sweetie. She replied.
Why wu scweamin mwommy.? Mari asked.
"  I'm okay baby mommy is jus a little upset that's all."
Otay. She said.
" Let mommy get you dressed we going somewhere."

I brushed her teeth and put her hair in a bun. Then I got her MK jogging suit, that I saved enough money to buy us last year, and I had her put on her tennis shoes. Then I put my hair in a bun and also put my MK jogging suit with some tennis shoes. I grabbed my phone off the charger and grabbed my wallet and headed out the door.

As they got to the main office in the apartment complex they walked in.

" Can I please speak to the manager?" Mya asked.
" sure thing hun." The lady said.
She called the manager and he came walking out.
Before he could say anything, A'Mya went off.

"HOW CAN YOU EVICT ME AND MY DAUGHTER"!!!!
"Ma'am calm down before I get the police involved, now you were late on you bills, and I cannot keep waiting on you to make a payment, so therefore you cannot live here anymore."
" But sir (GCO)
"Sir nothing, now you should get packing before the day ends." He said

I picked Mari up and ran to my apartment.
I put Mari down for a nap , while I packed whatever we needed. I decided to Face Time Jaylen.

Convo,
Me~ Hello?
Jaylen ~ Hay girl, why yo eyes puffy? You been crying?
Me~ Yes, I got evicted today I have to be out by tonight! I cried.
Jaylen~ Oh my goshhhh girl when you finish packing u staying with me n Jacob.
Me~ Oh no I can't he just got back and I don't want to interfere with your family.
Jaylen~ You kno you my best friend, and you know that I will do anything for you .
Me~ I know but you already pay my phone bill and I don't wanna be a burden on you.
Jaylen~ You aren't a burden on me I wanna help my sister.
Me~ okay I'm gonna go to work and try to get a hotel for us tonight.
Jaylen~ Well if you need anything, call me.
Me~ ok bye

After I packed all our things in our suit cases , I woke up Mari and got her in the car. Then I put her in the car, it was now 5:15pm so I was leaving for good. I grabbed Mari' s bear and turned the lights of and drove to the main office. I turned in my key after cussing the manager out once again. I got in my car and drove off. Then I saw it was Tiffany calling.
Convo,
Me- hay Tif
Tif- Hay
Me- So what you need.
Tif- Ummmm I have some bad news, ummmm the club is going out of business so we don't have our jobs anymore.
Me- Oh my gosh why? We were making good money and now this?
Tif- Yup , well I gotta go, cause I'm in the process of looking for a job. I just called to tell you the news..
Me- ok bye.

I sighed, " my life if officially over! I yelled." I got Mari and myself out of the car, and we made our way into the diner. I quickly went to the manager' s office and knocked. Then I walked in.
" Hello Ms. Jacobs, how can I help you? And who's this cutie?"He cooed.
"Hi, this is my daughter A'Mari and I was wondering if she can stay at work with me just this one time, I couldn't get a babysitter."
"Sure thing, as long as she's on her best behavior, which I'm sure she will be." He smiled
"Thank you so much! I will get to work"
I walked out of his office and grabbed my apron and tied it on me. Then I picked A' Mari up , and sat her at a booth and gave her my phone and her bear to play with.
" Mommy is gonna be working so be good for me . Okay?"
"Ywes mommy." Mari smiled .
"That's my girl."I kissed her and got to work.

A group of middle aged women came in and sat at a table, I grabbed some menus and walked over to their table.
"Hi I'm A'Mya, and I will be your server for today how can I help you?"
"Hi , can we get some sweet raspberry tea, and some of your famous spinach dip for the appetizer."
"Yes ma'am, your order is coming right up." I said.

It was about 10:00 and the day was over, I had just finished helping clean up. I was counting the money in the cash register, I looked up and saw a grown ass man sitting in the booth with my baby talking to her, and making her laugh.
I walked to the booth.
" Mari what did I tell you about talking to strangers?!"
"Sorry ma I just saw this pretty little girl sitting here and I just was talking to ha no need to scare you." The man put his hand up in surrender.
" And who are you!" I asked
" I'm August rememba me from tha club Tha other day?" He asked.
" yes August . I said.
" Would you like anything ?" I asked .
"A tea to-go please." He said.

I got his tea and took my apron off, then I gave it to him and he payed me. I put the money in the cash register and came back to the table.

"Anything else?" I asked
"No thank yuh" he said as he slid a 20$ bill at me.
"Thanks" I said
"No pro'lem". He said

I grabbed Mari and walked out, with him hot on my heels." Aye ma lemme walk you to yo car"." No thank you I replied, knowing he was still following me.

Once I got to my car I put Mari in, and started my car, but it wouldn't start. "DAMN SHIT FUCK!!!!!!!!! " I screamed.
"Maybe it needa jump start." August stated." No the shop said its a problem with the cars engine so I'm out of luck." I sighed.
" Come to my car wit meh' i'a take yuh' home." "But I don't have a home I got evicted today, I will just call my friend and get her to pick me up". " Nah lil mama I'm not bout to leave you outchea it's dangerous. You coming home with me." August said.
"But (GCO)-" "No use in arguing, I'm gone win so come on ion bite." He said.

I got out the car and grabbed the bags , while August grabbed sleeping A'Mari.
We got in August's Lamborghini and he drove off. He stopped by Mc Donald's and he got us all burgers. Once we pulled up to his large gated house my mouth dropped. It was unbelievable!! It was so beautiful, and I could tell he had taste. Once we all got in we ate our food at the table.
August,
" Lemme show y'all where y'all sleepin ta'night." As I walked dem around I admired Mya's body as much as I wanted to tell ha she sleepin wit meh and I bend that ass ova ta'night. I knew she wasn't that type of girl.
" this where y'all sleeping, Tha restroom down tha hall, and my room right there". I pointed. Tell me if y'all need anything. "Okay and thanks August". " Yuh welcome ma, get some sleep."
I went in my room and took a shower and went to sleep.

A'Mya,
I bathed Mari and I and we laid down in the most comfortable bed we've ever felt.
Mari was sleep and I was up thinking about what I'm going to do. I needed to think of something fast because I know we won't be staying at August house forever. I put my phone on the charger and drifted to sleep.
