The Past Meets The Present Part5

A'Mya,

I woke up by the aroma of food making my mouth water. I got out of bed and brushed my teeth, and washed my face, then I went into my room to get Mari but I didn't see her. I opened the door and heard her laughing with August, so I went down stairs.

"Mommy!", Mari screamed.

"Good morning baby girl", I said

"We were just talking and she helped meh make breakfast, she a good cook, and helper." August said.

"Oh yeah she helps me all the time".

"Yuh plate rightchea, if you want some breakfast." August said pointing at the plate at the table.

"Thanks". I said my grace and ate my plate.

When I finished, I went to the kitchen and saw August cleaning up the mess.

"I can help clean up if you want." I said

"Nah ma I got it." August said.

"I'm still gonna help". I said and he laughed.

When we finished we went into the living room. While watching tv with A'Mya and A'Mari August received a phone call.

August- hello?
Manager- August, um we have a party that we need you to come to its gonna have the hottest, celebrities attending, so be there, the party starts at 10:00pm and bring a friend.
August- Aight I'a show up, and bring a friend, you better be lucky I'm agreeing.
Manager- laughs, I know it's last minute but I will see you there.
August-Aight bye.
End of convo.

Well tonight is this party, I'm gonna see if A'Mya will come wit meh so I can chill wit ha a lil mo.

"Mya ummmm it's this party tonight and I gotta bring a friend, so will yuh do the honor of lettin a nigga bring you?" August asked.

"Ummmm, I don't know I will have to see if my best friend can watch Mari tonight." Mya said.

"Aye! I got a idea how bout you bring them to my nieces house, I'm sure they'a have fun wit ha. I can call Chandra now." August said.

" I mean I don't know about this."

"You going to this party I txt Chan and she said she coo wit it so. Put some clothes on and, pack Mari bags because she going early they bout to go to Jumping World, so she will like that." August demand.

"Yes sir." Mya said kind of impressed because he knows how to get his way out of people.

"Put that ass in check". August mumbled.

"Heard that!" Mya yelled. Going upstairs with Mari. With August right behind her.

A'Mya,

I put Mari in the bathtub and bathe her. When I got her out I brushed her teeth, and put her on some purple, pink and white flower shorts, with a white shirt. And her clear jelly sandals. I left her hair curly, and put a bow that matches her shorts in her hair. She had to grab one of my pair of sunglasses, out of my bag so I let her wear them.

Then I sat her on the bed so she could watch bubble guppies.

I got in the shower  and and bathed myself, then I got out and dried off then I put my robe on me. I stood in the restroom and put mascara and lipgloss on. That's all I needed I only apply makeup for events. I put on a white top, some ripped jeans, a red white and blue plaid shirt tied around my waist and my timbs. I straightened my hair so it wouldn't be a hard time for tonight, and I curled my hair very little with my curling wand. Then I was good to go. I grabbed my purse and Maris bags and we mad our way downstairs to a sleeping August.
