I first got into Pokemon when I was really young. My older sister had gotten Pokemon Diamond on her Nintendo DS, and I didn't know what it was. I was eager to try, so I found the game, erased her save file, and created my own.
I got into my other first fandoms because of the games that my family members would play.
Nowadays, I get into fandoms whenever a friend recommends it or if I see a video on YouTube about it.
