Holly's Point of view

I was late to school this morning, I went to bed late and it was hard to sleep since my muscles were sore from my training sessions with Marcella, she's so determined to make me strong and able to defend myself. My alarm clock went off but I slept through it, I had only 10 minutes to get ready for school, I was running around in a rush trying to hurry.

I walked into Mrs.Hivners class and went to go find my seat, which is in the back of the class. Mrs.Hivner is my Science teacher, she's kinda strange if you ask me. When she talks, he voice is kinda scratchy and rough sounding and her hair  is so thin and short, she needs to get her hair done.. at a salon. I'm sure she's in her late 40's and she comes to school with an attitude that no one likes, she's extremely grouchy.

Ryan came into the classroom and once he spotted me, he came to sit by me. "Hey, are you doing okay?" he asked me as he sat down. I haven't spoken to him since that day when everything was just all so confusing, it seems to have been forever since we have talked. I nodded to him and turned to face the front of the classroom.

Mrs.Hivner was standing at the board and started talking about some new project were doing for her class. As she was talking, my eyes began to feel heavy, I was quite ready to fall asleep in her class and I could feel myself beginning to doze off, I'm sure its because I went to bed late "Holly, everything okay?" I heard Ryan ask.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just really tired" I responded back to him, I wish I actually got some sleep last night. 

When class was over, I went to my locker to grab my notebook for math class. While I was at my locker, I noticed Lacey Revey and her posse, Kira and Ruby walking down the hall and when they saw me, they had quite an expression that wasn't readable. There's something up with those three, they were the only ones not drunk at the party and they seemed to be more interested in what I was doing and why I was leaving at the party. Thanks to her stupid party, I had come into my powers that day and part of me hates that I now know what I'm capable of.  "Well if it isn't Holly, the girl who didn't enjoy my party" Lacey said, she was near me now and her friends were right behind her. "What do you want?" I said to her, rolling my eyes. "Me and my friends are having a study group at the library today and we were wondering if you'd like to come" She told me, I could tell she was up to something. I don't even think I want to go study with her, I definitely don't like her either. "I have plans after school today, sorry" I said to her, I knew she didn't believe me but that should give her the hint that I don't like her. "Is there a reason why your lying Holly?" Ruby all of a sudden asked, the attitude in her voice pissed me off. I was about to open my mouth to say something to her but Lacey looked at her. "Hush Ruby, i'm speaking to her" she told her. "Not anymore, I'm about to be late to math class" I said to Lacey, I closed my locker and then left to math class.

Once math class ended, I found Marcella in the hall and ran to her. "Hey, whats up?" she asked me, noticing my "I have to tell you something" look. "Lacey wants to me join her study group at the Library and I have this gut feeling she's up to something" I explained to her. She looked at me like I was worrying about something stupid and then placed her hand on my shoulder. "Chill Holly, Why don't you go and see if she actually is up to something?" she suggested. It didn't sound like a bad idea to me, Lacey seems sneaky and cunning which makes me curious to her intentions. "I guess I'll go, tell mom i'll be at the library when you get home" I told her, Marcella just nodded and just went off to class. 

Right after school, I went to the school Library and when I walked in, I didn't see anyone. I started going down the little path that brought you further into the Library and that's when I saw the librarian knocked out on the floor, in front of her desk. I ran to her and knelt down, she looked pale. I grabbed her wrist and placed two fingers between the bone that was on the thumb side of her wrist, I was panicking inside. "Please be alive, please be alive" I mumbled to myself over and over. She had no pulse and right then, I knew she was dead. "SOMEBODY HELP!" I yelled as loud as I could, I didn't even see Lacey or anybody in here, the school was just empty anyways. "She was getting in my way so I showed her who's in charge" I heard from the back of the library which I quickly recognized the voice, it was Lacey. I heard her footsteps coming my direction and before I knew it, she was by me. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" I practically screamed. I was slightly shaking, I didn't know Lacey was capable of such violence but I guess..she is capable of surprising me.
