Yet again, I barely know about stringed instruments.
~Snow's POV~
"Since I don't have any pianist nor guitarist, I want Snow to be my pianist for Jazz," I choked on my own spit when he said that. "Snow, do you agree? I don't want to force you or anything." I didn't know what to say at all because I don't even know if I should join or not. So many decisions lately, I would probably pass out on the next offer I get. "Think about it Snow. Max, would you be able to be my Cello player if you can play cello?"
"Yes I know how to play Cello but one thing sir, I haven't play that instrument for a long time. I know the fingerings but I barely know the other stuff like tuning it," I was surprise at the response of Max. I would've thought he would choke too and give an choppy answer but that compose state of his got me shocked.
"Alrighty, you'll learn on the way," he grabbed a clipboard and wrote something down. "I looked at both of your records in school. Both of you are taking economy ll which is extra credit for both of you. Jazz is actually on the same period as your economy class also an extra credit class. Do you guys want to switch?" I was thinking about it until now when I thought about economy l and how boring it was and Stacey is in my economy class.
"I would take up the piano and switch classes," I said quickly since I'm still not used to talking to people.
"Alrighty then, that's good for both of us then. Max do you want to switch," Max nodded his head. "Well then, see you tomorrow then," both of us waved back at Mr. Chandler who was watching some videos on YouTube.
"Well then, one less class with Stacey," Max sigh with relief.
"Let's just see if she switched because it would be hilarious to see her playing an instrument," I laughed at the thought of her red face blowing into a trumpet, trombone, or saxophone. It seems that one of the blocks of the sidewalks were higher than the others which my dumbass self didn't pay attention and almost face planted.
"Woah there cowgirl," Max said in his sucky country accent with one of his arms around my waist to catch my fall. "Sometimes it's better to look at the ground. That's probably why you anti social people always look down," he tried to get both of our minds off of the awkward position we are in.
"Max"
"Yes kitty cat?"
"One: get off and two: don't call me that," I calmly ask which he moved but still called me a nickname. "Please don't make up nicknames. I'm not your wife!" I argued which I soon regretted it when he said.
"Oh honey, in the future we will be married with 20+ kids and probably some grandchildren if our kids don't get your social status," I gave him a death glare which he tried to make a couple of remarks but ended up sounded like a failed robot. "What!?! Can I dream a little bit?"
"No"
"Rude"
"I know, I'm just that mean to you, am I?"
"Be nice after I saved you from face planting to the sidewalk. Actually I saved the side walk more since that hard head of yours could've crack the concrete," he was right but I just don't want to admit it except for the last part.
"Okay okay," I raised both of my hands for surrendered. We walked to the parking lot trying to trip each other over for no reason until Max's phone went crazy.
His face turned sour when he looked at his phone, "It's my father, I'll see you tomorrow then," he waved before he got into his car. I wonder what's his relationship with his parent must be like.

~Max's POV~
"What do you want? I found me a accompanist," I kinda lied. I really just don't want to talk to my father since he just ruined my time with Snow who is really funny to piss off.
"Don't talk to me like that, young man. I'm going to be blunt with ya, since you found you a accompanist, you guys will be performing at my ceremony in Atlanta," my nose scrunched up when he said the last part.
"You said what?" I have no god damn time to go to fuckiñg Atlanta to preform in one of his boring ceremonies of his.
"You understand me, you'll defiantly attend to that ceremony no matter what," I just want to punch the hell out of something most likely him but you know, I can't teleport all the way across the country.
"One thing John, I got too much shit going on with my life that I really don't need some ceremony in my way. I got a competition coming up and now I'm in Jazz. Another thing, that accompanist haven't even decided to be my accompanist at all. She got a lot on her plate too since she's recently join jazz too," I wish my cousin never found Snow because my father will be attacking her with different stuff that she really doesn't need. I don't want to go to a ceremony that he have every single week. "I just don't want the poor girl to go through a lot. My cousin recently got her talking since the girl barely even socialized before I came, so please give us some time," I wish the selfish bastard would get to his senses because everything doesn't evolved around him.
"Then why did you pick her then? Find some other pianist that wouldn't pass out in front of thousands of people. It's Tennessee for goodness sakes! You should be finding bunch of other pianists that would take your offer willingly," this old man wouldn't back down if he had a gun pointed to him, he wanted me to show up to this stupid ceremony no matter what. I heard a sigh on his side "fine, I'll be scheduling a ceremony on April and you better bring a accompanist. Another thing I forgot which is why you don't have to come on this ceremony, you got to win this competition. You better find a accompanist fast because right now you have an enemy to beat. Don't ask me," then he hung up without saying good bye but that's fine with me.
I sat in the empty parking lot for a while, thinking about what he said. I didn't realize it started to rain hard when a horn honked at me. The car honked at me for a couple times now but my father's words were the main thing on my mind.
*knock knock*
"Idiot! Get your dumbass mind out of the gutters!" I saw Lilly on the other side of the window banging like hell on my window. "You better explain to me when you get home. I got word from Snow that my Uncle John called," she pointed at me which I nodded in response. When Lilly is mad, agree on everything she says or your head will be on a pole in a minute. I started up the car and drove away with Lilly tailing my ass.
