Jonathan just recently met the boy who goes by the name of Craig, and damn that kid could get scared easily. Jonathan peered out of the alley way, flicking his hood up and tugged Craig along; he didn't want anyone to be suspicious of him he was on the news a couple times after all.
"Know of any place to stay?" Jonathan asked Craig who jumped slightly at the sudden questions causing Jonathan to roll his eyes."Erm.. I heard there was this cheap motel by the highway." Craig said, not sounding too sure by it but Jonathan went with it anyways.
"Alright, let's go."

The two made it to the motel, Jonathan looked over at Craig who's legs were shaking and his breath unsteady.
"Come on, we didn't walk that much." Jonathan said with a roll of his eyes, while Craig looked at him but quickly looked away when Jonathan noticed. Jonathan looked over at the hotel, it was painted a awful yellow which could have been white at one time, the paint was peeling off, there was multiple cracks in the parking lot, and what seemed only two cars in the small parking space.
The two walked towards what seemed the reception, there wasn't much else to look considering it was basically a run down small motel. The two entered the small structure, the air reeked of smoke which caused Craig to cough and Jonathan to roll his eyes. The walls were plastered with holes and crooked pictures, of what seemed to be the motel when it actually was decent. Jonathan walked to a old women who was smoking like her life depended on it, while Craig stayed behind taking an interest at the pictures.
"A room for two please." Jonathan said plainly."That'll be 37.99 bucks." The lady said with a scruffy voice that sounded that of a man's. Jonathan didn't seemed to take any concerned of it as he slid her the amount of money. She gave him a rusty old room key and told him along the lines, that she promises that it works. Her promise was broken easily when Jonathan kept trying to twist the key in the slot of the doorknob for the seventh time, getting frustrated.
"Fuck this." He said as he lifted his leg up and kicked the door open, causing Craig's mouth to fall open.
"Come on, get inside." Jonathan said as he roughly shoved Craig into the room that was painted an awful shade of red and reeked of paint. Craig quickly scurried over to the closest bed toward him, while Jonathan went to the other. The two sat down and it was silent"Got a story?" Jonathan asked as he lit a cigarette and took a puff.
"It's not that interesting." Craig muttered.
"Better then sitting in silence." Jonathan said blowing out some smoke, he heard a sigh from Craig.
"I was in an abusive orphanage house, I was barely allowed to leave unless I was forced to sleep in the rain outside, which I would take the chance to explore, which would explain why I don't do well with people." Craig said resting his head on his hand.
"Shit man." Jonathan said as he took another puff.
"I-if you don't mind me asking, what's your story." Craig asked shyly.
"Just a murderer." Jonathan said, quickly noticing Craig's eyes widened.
"What? You think I carry a fucking knife around for the fun of it? Nah man, I carry it around to kill.. I ain't even afraid to admit it." Jonathan said as he took out his knife, chucking it at the wall causing it to get stuck."I should've guessed." Craig said.
"Yeah, pretty obvious when I threatened to slice your neck open and leave you for dead as you suffocate with your own blood." Jonathan said as he let out some smoke.
"Yeah.." Craig muttered.
Jonathan looked at Craig and held out his cigarette, Craig looked up and shook his head. "N-no I don't smo-"
Jonathan cut him off."Just try it, it takes the edge off." Jonathan said insisting. Craig took the cigarette shyly and put it in his mouth sucking on it lightly and taking it out, he coughed dramatically as smoke basically came out of him nose. Jonathan could help but burst into laughter at the sight, noticing Craig glaring at him slightly.
"It's not funny!" Craig shouted.
"It looked like you swallowed the damn smoke, you trying to be dragon or something?" Jonathan laughed out gaining weird looks from Craig about his weird laugh. Craig couldn't help but laugh as well. Jonathan suddenly stopped laughing.
"Is there a school around here?" Jonathan asked."Uh, yeah.. Why?" Craig asked with a cock of his head.
"We're enrolling tomorrow." Jonathan stated sharply, gaining wide eyes from Craig.
