It was early morning the next day, and a loud alarm was heard throughout the small hotel room. A loud groan was heard as Jonathan slammed his fist onto the alarm clock, nearly breaking it.
Craig shuffled in his bed, barely awake."Craig time to wake up." Jonathan said, his voice huskier then normal due to just waking up.
"Mmmm." Craig groaned loudly throwing his pillow onto his head to block out Jonathan's voice.
"I can still kill you y'know." Jonathan said with a smirk causing Craig to shoot up and fall off the bed with a thud. That was the second time Jonathan threatened Craig causing him to fall off the bed.
"Ow.." Craig said and slowly got up, running his eyes. Jonathan was about to hand Craig his glasses, but before he looked through them himself.
"Damn you're blind!" Jonathan said as Craig tried to grab for his glasses, but everything was a blurry mess.
"Yeah, yeah, I hear that a lot." Craig muttered. "Now give them to me before I accidentally slap you." Craig said. Jonathan handed them to him, and Craig grabbed them hastily a put them on; blinking as he got use to the clearness.
"Well time for school, whoooooo." Jonathan voice slowly got quieter as he fell back onto the bed.
"You can sleep in class, come on." Craig said as he grabbed his dark orange backpack that they bought yesterday which also has supplies in it.
"Fine, mom." Jonathan groaned, causing Craig to get curious.
"Um.. Where are your parents?" Craig asked quietly hoping not to trigger anything.
"Dead." Jonathan said quietly.
"I'm sorry.." Craig said wishing he hadn't ask.
"Yep. Dad killed my mom with a slash to her neck, and brought a gun to his head, went insane too soon to notice." Jonathan said in a monotoned voice as he grabbed his knife from the nightstand.
"This is the knife he killed my mom with." Jonathan said with a evil grin as he twirled the knife around. Craig gulped as he looked how evil Jonathan looked right now. Before he knew it, the knife was chucked at the wall and stuck.
"Oh well." Jonathan said with a shrug. Suddenly a bang was heard, and footsteps came close to their door. Loud knocks was heard, and Craig went to the door; opening it. It was Tyler, looking extremely pissed."I am trying to get ready for school and suddenly a fucking is poking through the wall. What the hell?" Tyler said angrily causing Craig to cowered down and looked at Jonathan.
"Whoops." That's all Jonathan said as he grabbed the knife. "I can poke the knife through you if you want." Jonathan grinned.
"It's not fucking halloween. Stop being such a creep, you're scaring the kid." Tyler said as he motioned towards Craig who actually look scared before Tyler called him a kid.
"What?" Craig said, snapping his head at Tyler.
"I know you're not really seventeen." Tyler said.
"That doesn't mean I'm a fucking kid! Pretty sure one year doesn't make a fucking difference." Craig said before slamming the door in Tyler's face, turning towards Jonathan with a sigh.
"Jeez, sensitive much?" Jonathan asked.
"Shut up." Craig said as he heard a slam of a door, flinching at it.
"We should go to school." Craig suggest before grabbing one of the hotel keys, and shoving it into his pocket. He walked out of the door as Jonathan ran after him attempting to put on his blue hoodie as he carried his sky blue backpack.~~ Time Skip ~~
The walk to school was easy, it was currently mid fall so it wasn't hot nor that cold. They got to school with fifteen minutes before the bell would ring to go to first period. Craig was literally shaking from nervousness, it irritated Jonathan so much that he slapped in the back of the head. Craig to wince and rub his head quickly afterwards. They saw Tyler walking toward the school, his eyes on his schedule as he walked; his hand clutching his dark blue backpack strap tightly.
"Maybe he has a class with you." Jonathan nudged Craig who just glared at him.
"He better not." Craig huffed as he started walking towards the school gates, Jonathan following closely behind as if he was a body guard toward Craig. The two scanned the school campus, they only saw some of the inside; nothing really outside.
They looked at the kids, seemed like usual system; jocks, popular kids, the nerds, and the outcasts. Jonathan wondered what group they'd be put it, but at the moment they were the new kids."Hey look, new kids." A tall muscular guy said, a smirk planted on his face. He wore a football jacket, as well as his friends behind him; jocks.
"I'd be surprised if no one noticed we we're new. It's kind of obvious." Jonathan said with a shrug.
"See they even admitted it. Let's give them a welcome." The tall one said.
"Ooh, do you do this for everyone? Or is this just because we're so special?" Jonathan asked with a wide smile.
"If you want to think that way." The guy said as he cracked his knuckles, like a threat. Craig cowered down behind Jonathan.
"Hey, don't be scared kid. We're just here to welcome you." The guy said as he reached out to grab him to pull his toward his group, but before he could Jonathan went in front of Craig even more.
"Don't go near him." Jonathan growled threateningly.
"Awe, don't want us to mess with your boyfriend? Why don't we mess with you instead.
"Neanderthals, all you guys think about it violence. Ain't it? All the football must of gotten your brains scrambled. If you have any brains in the first anyway so." Jonathan said with a laugh.
"What you said?!" The guy said as he shoved Jonathan who was pushed into Jonathan causing both of them to fall. Craig fell with a yelp.
"Craig you alright?" Jonathan said as he slowly got up.
"Yeah.." Craig said with a groaned as he got up as well.
"Ha, he even has a nerdy name." The jock said as his other friends chuckled.
"Come on guys we still have to wel-" the jock got cut off as something cold was pressed again his neck. Jonathan was behind him, his eyes dark as he pressed the blade closer to his neck."D-ude, calm down." One of the jocks friends said.
"I am calm, perfectly calm. Blood is calming, you wanna see?" Jonathan said with a wide smirk, looking insane as he pressed the blade closer to the jocks neck.
"Jonathan!" Craig yelled at him, but he didn't move.
"Don't be like your dad!" Craig yelled again, his voice cracking. Jonathan released his tension and went back putting the pocket knife into his pocket, walking towards Craig like nothing happen. Before they walked away, Jonathan looked at the jock."Tell anybody about this, and you won't be able to see the light of tomorrow." Jonathan said with a menacing growl and continued walking along side Craig.
