Ami was in her room which was once amu's. It's been 5 years, 5 long years since she has lost her only sister, she loved and looked up to. Since that day when they parted, she grew up in isolation. Her mother and father divorced after her sister's death, since then her father never bothered to talk to his younger daughter who he once adored. She was devastated by reoccurring incidents, thus resulting in isolation she bonded with.

She has friends, don't mistake her for loner. A lot of friends who only friends with her because of her popularity and looks. She was once working as model, but her modelling profession didn't last long.

She didn't shine as bright as Seiyo's sun after all.

Seiyo's sun. That's right. Her sister was called the sun of Seiyo Elementary. It's wasn't because of her bright, warm golden eyes. Well, maybe a little. But it was mostly because of her personality. She was sweet and shy. She was kind and gentle most of the times. But she could be fierce when she wanted others to believe in themselves. People would come to love her the first time their eyes landed on her. It was just like love at first sight. An attraction that lured everyone in. She was beautiful by soul, so beautiful that Ami envied her sister for her pure, daring heart. She could chain others heart without breaking a sweat, just a sight of her warm smile is more than enough to make others give their heart out to her. She was responsible. She was selfless. She was….she was everything that a person yearn to be. She was that perfect elder sister she was proud of. Then why? Why did that happen to her? Is it because Ami wasn't strong enough?

"Yes, that's right. It was my fault. If only I had told mother everything despite your stupid request, then maybe.. We...together... A life I always wanted to live with you... Onee-chan.."

five years ago

"Amu, you are covered in bruises again. Did something happen? Did someone hit you?" Midori asked her elder daughter, her eyes brimming with concern for her daughter.

"... I fell," Amu replied, flashing a smile at her mother.

"Again?" Midori asked suspiciously, her eyes narrowing at Amu.

"Mother, Sometimes your beautiful, responsible and lovely daughter can be clumsy too, you know," Amu replied, nervously looking up at mother, midori.

Well, Truth is that, that day After school Kukai went to his soccer practice after hitting Amu. Poor Amu was crying silently. But she didn't have a choice after all. He was her precious friend after all.

"I knew it. You were lying," said Ami with a frown on her face.

Amu looked up and saw her younger sister looking at her sadly. "Ami?"

"Why? Why are you lying, onee-chan? If you tell oka-san, then all of this would come to a stop," Ami said nearly crying, she felt weak, weak that she was not able to protect her sister.

"But they are my friends, Ami. Sure, they tend to hurt me sometimes, But they aren't bad people. I'm sure they will come to love me, just like you. I'm just waiting for that time, time when they will smile for me. It would make me happy," Amu said giving Ami her radiant smile, her eyes shimmered with longing.

"But…but," Ami still couldn't take it.

"Don't worry. Don't tell anyone, please. I will be fine. It's a promise. And you know, when a Hinamori promises.."

"They never break promises," Amu and Ami said in unison.

But she didn't keep her promise. "Onee-san, you broke your promise," Ami was now hugging her pillow and crying her heart out. Her pillow was getting wet because of her tears. "They broke you. Your heart was clear like a glass. And they had fun shattering you."

When a glass breaks, you can't put it back together. If you glue it together, then there will be crack marks. If you melt it and remake it, it won't be the same. Now, she is not here anymore.

"They... they will pay... Pay for taking my precious sister away from me!," Ami's fierce golden eyes sparkled with newfound glimmer that screamed nothing but 'revenge'. She finally let out a scream that was filled with nothing but Anger and grief. She will make sure they would see their greatest nightmare come true. A wide sadistic smile graced her lips as she figured out how to do so. But it didn't last longer when a thought came to mind,

"Now that think of it, New seiyo's sun has appeared it seems, A popular one that is,"
