3. The Savior's Demand

"Hurts! Ow!"

My whole body is aching. I reach out to touch my nose and wince. It really hurts.

"Stop it midget or your nose will bleed again."

I open my eyes and saw Cole. He
is carrying me in his arms, princess style.

"What are you doing? What happened? Put me down!"

I fight to get off. As much as his arms are way comfortable around me, this is embarassing.

"Hey, put me down! I can walk. Hey!!"

He continued to walk. We came across a stairway. He turn to the direction of the stairs and stop at the top. He streched his arms a little but one wrong move from me and I will fall. The fall would definitely crack my skull.

"If you don't behave. I will let go midget"

"You won't do that. I'll die and you'll be a murderer."

"Try me"

He smirk.

He strech his arms more. He was about to let go when I put my arms around his neck and cling to him. I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

"Don't."

I sniffle a cry.

"Why are you crying midget?"

"Cause you're going to kill me and my body really hurts. My head hurts too"

"That's why I told you to behave"

"But this is embarassing!"

"It's fine"

I hug him closer and buried my face in his neck. I can smell his sweet vanilla scent. He smells good.

"Where are we going?"

"Infirmary"

The nurse in duty treated my wounds and gave me pain killer medicines. Cole was with me the whole time.

We went back to the dorm. I immediately flop down in my bed while Cole is changing out of his uniform.

"Change your clothes midget. You're uniform has blood in its collar."

I examine my collar and he's right. There are blood stains. I got up to change my clothes.

I was thinking. What happened earlier? Did Cole defeat those jocks alone? He saved me right?

I examine his face and found no trace of scratches or bruises. He doesn't look like he's hurting somewhere too. He looks fine, as always. How did he save me? Also, I haven't thanked him yet.

"Cole, thank you"

"For what?"

"For earlier. You saved me. Again."

"I told you, it's not for free"

"Fine! You saved me twice. I'll treat you to lunch in the cafeteria for a week"

"You're life only worth five lunches? You're life must be very cheap midget."

"No jerk! What do you want then?"

"I'll think about it. For now, go to sleep or eat. You look tired"

"Yeah, i'll go to sleep. I don't have an appetite anyway. What about you? Aren't you going to sleep?"

"I'll play video games."

"Ok. Good night Cole"

"Good night midget"

I stir in my bed. The light coming through the window is irritating and it's really cold.

I peek through my blankets to look at the clock. It's already 8:30 in the morning. I turn to look at Cole. He's still passed out on his bed with his headphones on.

Arrgghh! My body still hurts and my head is pounding but there's school. I need to go.

I woke Cole up. We took a short shower, (not at the same time, i wish!), changed to our uniform and went to school.

The day went by normally. It's the usual boring classes and teachers. Some of my classmates were even wondering what happened to my face but I never told them the truth.

Cole hasn't told me what he wants in exchange. He disappeared during lunch break and until now, the last bell just rang, he's not back yet.

I run around the school hoping to find him. I went inside the infirmary and found him on one of the bed. This guy is always sleeping. What time did he sleep last night?

I wake him up again, this is the second time for today. I think I need to ask for payment too.

He woke up. I drag him to our dorm and he groggily walks back. We changed our uniform and ate dinner.

Afte eating, Cole immediately jump on his bed and get ready to sleep. He was about to sleep when he called me over.

"Midget, I know what I want as payment"

I sit in the corner of his bed.

"What is it?"

"Be my human bolster"

"What?! A bolster?"

"Yeah"

Did he mean the long fluffy pillow that you cuddle when sleeping kind of bolster? This guy must be crazy.

"I'm a guy, Cole"

"Do you think I'm blind, midget?"

"But won't that be embarassing"

"No, besides your height is just right"

"You must be kidding"

"No more talking"

He pulled me down and pinned me on the bed. He's on top of me. He stared straight to my eyes. Shit. He looks angry and scary.

"Just shut up and do what I say midget. That is payment plus you said you will do anything. Don't you dare back down in your words. Now, I'm really sleepy. No more talking and let me sleep."

He laid down on top of me and put all his weight on my body. His head is in my chest. Both his hands are on the side of my head. Our legs are tangled together He closed his eyes and went to sleep.

"Uhhmm Cole, your heavy!"

He did not make any move and just groaned.

"Cole, I can't breathe. You're squishing me. Get off"

He just moved slightly so his entire body is not on top of me. His head stayed in my chest and his arms arw holding me in place. His breath became even and that means he's already asleep. That's fast.

I slowly pried his arms away from my chest. I got up. I was about half way when he pulled me down and circled his arms around my waist to keep me in place.

I can't do anything in this situation. I tried getting up but he would just pull me down again. He even tightened his hold on me and tangled our feet more.

This is making my heart beat faster and louder. He will definitely hear it. I turn in his arms and face him.

I stared at his sleeping face. If this guy is asleep, he looks so innocent. He has long eye lashes. I reach out and touch his hair. He has really smooth hair. I guide my hands lower and touch his lips. It's plump and inviting.

I was moving closer. A centimeter away from his lips when I realized what I was doing and stopped. I don't even know if he's gay. Yeah, he might have done all those things just because he's teasing me. This guy is a devil. He might be just playing with me.

I scoot closer and put my head under his chin. I feel safe in his arms. This is not so bad after all. I closed my eyes and went to sleep. I will enjoy this while it last.
