I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing. When I looked at the clock, it's only 6am. Seryoso? Sino namang tatawag ng ganitong oras? Ugh.

I pick up the phone, without looking at the caller I.D. "Hello? Sino 'to?"

"Scarlet, I'm so sorry for everything. Sorry din kung nagising kita ng ganitong oras. Pero hindi na ako mapakali, I still love you so much. And i-i miss you. I will explain everything to you. Please give me a chance. A second chance. I'm begging you, please." He's full on sobbing right now.

I don't know what to respond. Well, na-shock ako. Hindi ko inexpect na siya yung tatawag sa akin. And how did he get my number? Damn.

I cleared my throat. "John, alam mo namang hindi ganun kadali para sa akin yun. I can't just let you in my life again. Sana maintindihan mo."

Hindi pa talaga ako ready. I admit, I still love him. Pero hindi ako handa para masaktan niya ulit. Of course I want him to explain why did he break up with me 2 years ago. Pero not now, masyadong mabilis ata.

"Okay sige. I will give you time. Pero please, sana pag-isipan mo naman? I will tell you everything you want to know. When you're ready. I will wait." He sighed.

"Okay. Thank you, bye."

"Uh, okay bye."

Wala namang magawa dito sa bahay. Umalis si Mama kasi sabi niya makikipagkita daw siya sa mga kaibigan niya. I tried calling my friends, pero sabi nila busy sila. Bahala na manunuod nalang ako ng T.V tapos kakain nalang nang kakain.

Habang nililipat ko yung channel. Nakita ko yung A Walk To Remember sa HBO. Naalala ko pa yung pinapanood namin ni John yan, noong kami pa.

Flashback
"Alam mo medyo similar yung kwento natin sa movie na yan." Sabi sakin ni Johnny.

"Talaga? Bakit naman?"

"Yung pagkakilala natin sa isa't isa. Naging close tayo sa isang school play, sabi ko pa sa sarili ko na never akong magkakagusto sa'yo kasi ang sungit mo. Pero sabi nung teacher na turuan mo daw ako kasi nga mas magaling ka sa akin and skilled ka. When I got to know you more, I didn't expect to fall in love with you. But I'm happy that I did." I stared at him with awe. Wow, I'm so lucky to have this guy in my life.

"I love you." I said out of nowhere.

"And I love you too."

"Cute. Pero sana hindi naman ako magka-cancer sa huli." I said teasingly.

"No, of course not. I won't let that happen."

We finished watching the movie. Inaasar niya pa ako kasi umiyak ako. Pero you really can't blame me, nakakaiyak talaga siya.

"Scar?"

I hummed in response.

"Gusto mo ba malaman yung isa pang bagay kung bakit medyo similar tayo kay Landon and Jamie?" He looked at me.

I laughed. "Sige sure. Ano ba yun?"

He smiled, then his face got serious. "Because our love is like the wind. We can't see it. But we can feel it."

Instead of responding, I wrapped my arms around him so tight that I never wished to let go.
End of flashback

Hindi dapat ganito weekend ko eh. Umiiyak. Tapos umuulan pa, sakto sa mood ko. I miss him. I miss spending time with him. No matter how hard I try to hate him. I can't. I love him too much, that I didn't even notice that it's killing me.
