Brittany passed Jeanette in the hallway. "Jeanette! Elenore and I are going to the boys' house. Wanna come?" Brittany asked. "Why? So I can watch you and Simon canoodle each other?" Jeanette said as she angrily walked away. Brittany stood there, open-mouthed. "Pause the newsfeed! Jeanette, WHAT are you talking about?" Brittany asked, trying to catch up to Jeanette. Jeanette stopped walking and turned to face Brittany. "I saw you guys in the cafeteria. Don't try to pretend you don't know what I'm talking about," she said. Jeanette turned back around and walked away from Brittany. "Jeanette!" Brittany said, trying to get face to face with Jeanette. She finally managed to get in front of her. "Jeanette. Simon came up to ME. And it's not because he wanted to ask me out or anything," Jeanette crossed her arms, "it's because he wanted to help me make up my mind about Alvin. Which I did. I decided to give him a chance. And trust me, Simon does not have a crush on me. It's unbelievable how much he likes you." Brittany explained. "Really?" Jeanette asked. Then she realized something. "Oh no." "What?" Brittany asked. "I may have slipped a break up letter into his locker." Jeanette admitted. "You did WHAT?" Brittany yelled.
