The intercom blasted all over the school, "Will Alvin, Simon, and Theodore come to the auditorium, please?" In their class, the three boys looked at each other, confused. They all went to the auditorium. When they got there, they heard Brittany's voice on a speaker, coming from somewhere backstage. "We're so glad you could make it! Now, please have a seat in the front row," the boys sat down, "relax, and enjoy the show!" The curtains opened, and Brittany, Jeanette and Elenore were on the stage, posing in sparkly dresses with microphones. Suddenly, pop music flooded the speakers.

All-Uh!

B- Mmm, yeah. La, la, la, la.

All- Uh!

B- Hey, boy you never had much game, thought I needed to upgrade. So I went and walked away, way, way.

All- Uh!

J- Now, I seen you been hangin' out with that other girl in town lookin' like a pair of clowns, clowns, clowns.

All- Uh!

J- Remember all the things that you and I did first? And now you're doing them with her? Remember all the things that you and I did first? You got me, got me like this.

All- Uh!

E- And now you're taking her to every restaurant and everywhere we went? Come on! And now you're taking her to every restaurant? You got me, got me like this.

All- Uh!

All- Boy, you can say anything you wanna, I don't give a shh, no one else can have ya! I want you back, I want you back, want, want you, want you back. Uh! I broke it off thinkin' you'd be crying, and now I feel like shh lookin' at you flyin'. I want you back, I want you back, want, want you, want you back. Uh!

B- Please, this ain't even jealousy.

J/E- Jealousy?

B- She ain't got a thing on me. Tryna rock them ugly jeans, jeans, jeans.

All- Uh!

J- You clearly didn't think this through. If what I've been told is true,

B/E- Is it true?

J- You'll be crawlin' back like boo, hoo, hoo!

All- Uh!

J/E- Oooooooooh.

B- I thought you'd still be mine, when I kissed you goodbye, oh, oh. Oh, oh.

J/E- Oooooooooh.

B- And you might be with her, but I still had you first, oh, oh. Oh, oh.

J- Remember all the things that you and I did first? And now you're doin' them with her? Remember all the things that you and I did first? You got me, got me like THIS!

When the girls were done, the boys just sat there, expressionless. Alvin clapped. Simon coughed. Theodore said, "That was wonderful! But I don't get it." "What do you not get?" Brittany asked, "It was an elaborate apology for you, Simon!" "Yeah, that's nice. But what are you apologizing for?" Simon asked. Brittany and Jeanette looked at each other. "You mean you didn't get the note I put in your locker?" Jeanette asked. "What note?" Simon asked, confused. Jeanette looked at Brittany angrily. Brittany shook her head rapidly as if to say this was not her fault. Jeanette looked at Simon. "You see, I thought you liked Brittany when I saw you two together at lunch today. So, I may have stuck a break up note in your locker. But Brittany cleared everything up, so..." Simon walked up to Jeanette. "Jeanette. Why would you think I'd like another girl?" Simon asked. "I don't know, I just-" "Look at me," Simon interrupted. He took Jeanette's chin in his hand and tilted her head towards him, "I love you," he said. He leaned his head in and kissed her lips. Alvin, Theodore, Brittany, and Elenore all clapped and cheered. "Wanna celebrate at our house?" Alvin asked. "Yeah!" everyone agreed.
