An Old Mare's Tail

     There once was a simple young stallion pegasus, who fell in love with a beautiful young unicorn mare. Her coat was gray and white, and her mane was a darker gray and a beautiful shade of baby blue, her name was Written Melody, which she truly was. She sang with the most stunning voice, but this story is not her it is about him. For years he tried for her attention, which she would not pay, for she was a melody and she had no time for townfolk. But one day the young stallion gave up, but on that same day she fell in love with him, she fell in love with his sweet golden brown eyes that shined in the light with beauty, and his amazing smile that could brighten anyone's day. He was Perfect. That day she went and found his cottage and told him how she felt. And like that they fell in love. The stallion was not true to his love for years he had shunned what his wife had become. She was now blind and her beautiful Hair had gone to gray. She yet had to stay for she had nowhere to go. her husband was untruthful and mean, but she still loved him.
