Harry's POV
She was Quiet the whole ride home, She stared at the window as she watched every droplet roll down "are you alright?" she slowly turned to me "y-yeah, Im fine, j-just tired" I knew she was lying I could tell she had alot on her mind "would you like to talk it over?" she looked at me with wide eyes "talk about what?" she was playing dumb, she and I both perfectly knew what I was referring to.
"last night and t-that man, who was he?" I was pretty sure on who he was but I just want to make sure"oh..him" she stared at her lap fidling with her hands "it is alright Alice" I reached for her had she got small at the gesture, I ignored it and held her tiny hand in mine she looked relieved a tear rolled down her cheeks "I can't" I furrowed my eyebrows "you cant what?"
she looked up at me " Harry,you have made everything much worse. he will never stop" tears were running down her cheeks now. "I-I will never let him near you, Alice" she looked at me with puffy eyes "you can't promise that" I looked at her she looked so vulnerable and just plain out broken, but she was none the less beautiful.
"Yes I can , he will never come near you as long as I live, I promise"
Alice's POV
He looked at me waiting for my response, but I couldn't, I had no words, so I just nodded my head I wanted to say so much more, but I couldn't.
we pulled into the parking lot,I guess I had fallen asleep on the car ride because I awoke in Harry's bed after having a horrific nightmare, I screeched thinking it was all so surreal I was erratically panting and the back of my neck was sweating with fear.
He ran Into the room with sleep upon his face "what's wrong" he said in his deep morning voice with a bat in his right hand "n-nothing.......just a nightmare" he came to the edge of the bed and smiled and kissed my fore-head and turned back to the door to go back to sleep "wait" he swiftly turned back to me. "Stay"' he climbed beside me and draped his arm around my torso.I glanced at the alarm clock 5:00.
I layed there but never went back to sleep, I just layed in his embrace and warmth and came to the conclusion that he actually does care for me, for the 1st time in a long while somebody would care if my heart stopped beating right then and there.
