Chapter Six

Chanyeol sniffed the air around him as walked through the hallways of his new school, ignoring the weird looks he was getting and the squealing fangirls who was probably fawning over him. Right now he was looking for his mate or more like smelling him.

He wanted to be close with him already! It's only been a few days and he was already head-over-heels for Baekhyun, who wouldn't be? The purple haired president was just so cute, cute like a puppy and all Chanyeol want to do is to hug him!

"*sigh* Why can't I find him?" he whined to no one particularly.

But apparently one student heard him. "Who?" Chanyeol jumped in shock with a loud yelp.

He turned around and found an orange-d hair with a cross piercing on his left ear student who was about a few inches shorter than him.

"Dude! You scared the sh*t out of me!" he shouted, placing a hand on his racing heart. The guy gave him an apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to scare you," he apologized. "I'm Jisoo." The guy extended his hand and smiled.

Chanyeol shook it, smiling back at Jisoo, "I'm Chanyeol by the way. Nice to meet you, Jisoo."

"Who are you looking for? I might be able to tell you where that student is, or are you looking for a teacher?" Jisoo asked.

"I'm looking for a student, his name is Baekhyun." Chanyeol blushed when Jisoo sent him a teasing look.

"I take it, he's your mate?" Chanyeol looked at him in surprised. How did he know that? Is Jisoo a wolf too? or is he a vampire? a fairy? elf? dwarf?

As if sensing his thoughts, Jisoo asked,"How did I know?" Chanyeol nodded, too shocked to even form a sentence. All he wants to know if he's a wolf like him or if he's another supernatural creature.

Jisoo laughed, his eyes turning into little crescents.

"You're probably wondering if I'm a wolf too, right?(another nod from Chanyeol)Well, I'm sorry to tell you this but I'm a vampire, d--" Chanyeol growled, baring his canine teeth at Jisoo while his nails changed into claws.

Jisoo backed away a little bit, putting his hands up.

"Woah! Hold up! You don't want any students to see you like that, won't you? And don't worry, I won't hurt you." Jisoo reassured. Chanyeol retracted his claws back into nails, but was still baring his fangs to Jisoo and his eyes were blue.

"How can I believe that?" he spat.

"Because I'm not one of those vampires who hates wolves, okay? Plus, I think the war between our races is stupid," Jisoo explained and motioned Chanyeol to follow him.

Chanyeol retracted his canine teeth into normal ones and reluctantly followed Jisoo. Hoping that no one saw that.

They went to the rooftop that Chanyeol didn't even knew existed, well he was still new to the school, so he doesn't really know a lot of places at the school. The only place he knows is his classroom, the garden and cafeteria, and also the janitor closet.

He sat down on the bench that was placed in the middle while Jisoo went to stand next to the railing.

"How come we're here?" he wondered, looking around the area.

"Because not a lot of students goes here, and if we're going to talk about private things we should at least go to the place where there are no people," he explained. "We wouldn't want people knowing about the existent of vampire and wolves, won't we." Chanyeol nodded, agreeing with Jisoo.
