Isaiahs POV; accidents happen

Yesterday was the worst day of my life, I lost the most important person in my life.

Lexia is the best thing that's ever happened to me & I screwed it all up, I really am in love with her.

I walked down stairs smelling pancakes and bacon.

"good morning hunny" my mom smiled

"morning" I rolled my eyes pouring a glass of orange juice.

"so how's the boys & lexi?" my mom questioned

Just hearing her name made my heart drop & beat faster and faster.

"i don't know at this point." I spoke out  

trying to hold my tears back.

My mom dropped her cooking supplies & looked me in the eyes.

"what's going on." she questioned kworriedly

We sat down at the 4 person table in the corner of the kitchen

"well yesterday Chloe my ex came over & she was begging for me to do the nasty with her & Lexi came over for a surprise & she never heard me & Chloe's conversation before & she heard the last part where I lied to Chloe saying Lexi was a mistake & I was only drunk etc.. So she came in & broke up with me & now she wont talk to me at all."

My moms eyes started to swell up In a cherry red color as if she was about to cry.

"I was afraid of this, how could you let this happen? She's an amazing girl & I couldn't ask for a different girl to be carrying my grand children. Chloe is a slut & always will be Lexi has every right to be mad about this Isaiah im very disappointed." she started rubbing her eyes as water fell out

My mom was right but none of it was true, I'm in love with Lexi & she is the girl I want to marry ever since I laid eyes on her i seen love.

I may have been tipsy the night we had sex.. But it was meaningful in every way it was right, I played hard to get after that night because i didn't want people to think I was a softy.

"that's it, I have to make it up to Lexi."

I jumped in my car not caring I looked like a beast because I just woke up, I drove to Lexi's house & noticed it was only 10:30

I knocked on her glass door & seen someone coming threw the glass.

My jaw dropped my cheeks burnt up & my head began to swell, it was Lexi.

Just as she was about to slam the door in my face I broke out of my thoughts & stopped the door.

"let me explain."

She stepped outside leaned against the wall & crossed her arms.

I couldn't help but stare directly into her eyes, they were beautiful but I could see the hurt in her eyes.

"I love you more than anything in this world, & if you would of heard my conversation earlier you would know it was only to make her happy and leave me alone, I told her to leave & not to ever bother me me or you again. But she wouldn't leave so I just lied to her because she wouldn't leave me alone. & yes that night did mean something it was perfect it felt right & I only played hard to get because people would call me a softy but I knew you were the girl for me & I still know you are the girl I want to be with for the rest of my life the girl I want to marry Lexi."

She looked at the ground & started crying she was just about to walk into her house until I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards me.
