Eric's P.O.V.

'Oh God...' Was all I could think as my grandma and her friends approached my Aria...

Aria's P.O.V.

I looked at Eric as three sweet old- slightley eccentric- people approached us. He had an uneasy look about him I couldn't quite put a name on, but then I was distracted by the old people; one in particullar though.

'Why hello dear, I'm Granny Lou Hutchingson; Eric's Grandmommy! It's such a pleasure to meet you, Aria, now be a dear and come meet my friends!' Granny Lou said as she started dragging me off to the other two elderly people, one male, one female. As she dragged me away I grabbed Eric's hand and pulled him with me.

'Hello dear, I'm Michelle; but everyone calls me Patty; my wolfs name, though I don't know why. Well that's how the story goes I guess! It's a pleasure to meet our young, new, soon-to-be Luna!' The other old lady said to me. she had white hair to her waist, curly and whispy, with pretty brown eyes and a smile like the sunset. Her face was wrinkled, and she wore large clip-on earings with birds on them, and she had glasses strung around her neck and a sun hat on. She was also wearing a floral print dress, that I'm pretty sure is a nighty but I didn't say anything.

As I was about to reply to her, the elderly man jumped into the conversation;

'Well she sure is a pretty catch ain't she? Your a lucky man Eric, and speaking of Eric; your a lucky little girl to get this bafoon as your mate!' The man said, as I laughed at the expression on Eric's face, which was bemused and embarassed. 'Naw I'm just kidden! Names Bill! I along with these two ladie's am one of the Pack elder's. And together we form all of the pack elder's-'

'All the other's died!' Patty cut in dramatically,

'Includding our mates! But we survived! For now at least!' Granny Lou finished the story they were trying to tell me.

'Oh well that's a shame! So you three are the only elders of the pack? How?' I inquired, wondering how there could only be three of the last generation.

'Well we are one-hundred and ten sweetie.' Said Patty.

'Oh! In my old pack our elders were eighty... I assumed you were to?' I stated.

'Oh no dear! Pack elders here are composed of just us three; we'll die soon and then those who are eighty will take over until they're one hundred and something too, we live a long while in this pack!' Granny Lou replied to me. The way they spoke was dizzying; like chasing your tail in circles at night, then someone flashes a light in your face; it was hard keeping up what was being said and done.

'Eric, dear, would you mind if we took your darling mate to our cabin? We want to treat her, introduce her to pack stories and such!' Granny Lou asked of Eric, who looked uneasy.

'Could I join you, I don't like being away from my Aria...' Eric claimed, unsure if his grandma would allow him to come.

'But of course! The more the merrier, my dear boy!' Bill all but yelled in our faces, not realizing how close we were because he had dropped his glasses. When he put them back on his eyes went from a normal size, back to over enlarged blue orbs, hanging in his face above his large nose and walrus mustache, which still faintly had a tad bit of it's former color; blonde.

And that's how my day started; getting all dressed up to meet the pack, only to be abducted by funny pack elders, to there cabin by a stream, eating cookies and banana cream pie, drinking homemade rootbeer and gossiping about every pack memeber who walked by as we sat in the breakfast nook that had windows that looked out to the training feilds and recreational places of the pack grounds. Every time one of the elders said 'Ooh there goes the pack slut!' or 'Hey look; the ass that yelled at me yesterday!' Eric would groan. So Eric groaned every other second.

'I'm telling you that one, right there-' Patty yelled poitning to a young muscular man- 'Yelled at me for nothing, nothing! Yesterday!'

'You did run over his motorbike with a bulldozor...' Granny Lou whispered with a twinkle in her eye, knowing this would bug Patty.

'No that was you who was driving! And you made me take the blame!'

'Oh I did do that, did'nt I? Yes now I think on it I did tell that young man it was you!' Granny Lou stated, no remorse in her voice at all.

just as Patty was going to make one of her whitty remarks; I ate the last of my cookie and gulped down the rest of my rootbeer.

'Ah just in time! Well Grandma, Patty, Bill, it was a pleasure seeing you again but Aria has plenty more people to meet today, and you guys are hogging her all to yourselves!' Eric rushed out, while pulling me out of my chair and all but running from the room. The Elders didn't even have time to react before we were gone, laughing at how we escaped! Me and Eric ran into the woods, finding a nice clearing by the stream, we sat and just enjoyed the silence of eachother's company as we watched the sun set behind the mountains.

'You know what would really be the perfect ending to this day?' I asked meekly.

'I'm way ahead of you dear.' I looked over to see Eric picking me up to run us to his bedroom for a late night. Well what can I say? The man has skills, and I'm enjoying it as much as possible tonight!

Author's Note; Okay, there! You met the Elder's, Lovely bunch of weirdie's right? Watcha think about them? Well this is just kinda a 'Giving info on backgrounds blah blah blah I really just wanted funny old people at my disposel for future referance..' type of chapter :P
