im making a cup of tea when Josh walks up behind me and hugs me from behind.
"What are you doing up so early in the morning hun???"
"I couldn't sleep, I was worried about how I am going to tell my parents that we are getting married and having a baby. would you like a cup of tea??"
"Yes I would love one. would you like to invite them out to lunch today and I will invite my parents and we can tell them together. how does that sound??"
"That would be a great idea. ill give them a call."
"Uhh hun wont they be in bed at 5:15 in the morning?"
"No mum is usually up by now she has to take dad to work at 4:30 in the morning so yea."
"Ok then. ill take my cup of tea into bed then."
"Ok ill be in, in a minute. oh hey mum, would you like to come out to lunch with me and Josh and his parents today??"
"Yea sure hun."
"Yea we will pick you up in the limo about 11."
"Sure hun that would be good, see you at 11. bye hun."
"Bye mum."
I went into our bedroom, with my cup of tea to tell Josh that my mum will be coming to lunch but my father is at work so we would have to tell him another time and Josh was fast asleep with the cup still in his hand and the tea dripping out and spilt all over the floor. its great im gunna have to clean it up unless he decides to when he wakes up depending if I go crazy or not about it. im sitting there reading my book when it gets to 5:45 am and I thought I might as well get up cause I just cannot fall asleep. I do my jobs of getting breakfast. I make pancakes and suddenly josh wakes at 6:15 to the smell of pancakes. its really unusual for him to get up at this hour but hey I make fantastic pancakes.
"So what are you going to do today at work hun???"
"Well today im watching the new wolverine and I got to write a review for that and I have a couple of reviews that are due by Wednesday so I have to have them done and I got to make a few phone calls to the directors for the movies im doing the reviews on and then do the same with wolverine later on today."
"Wow sounds like you got your hands full today then."
"Yea sure does but its totally worth it. I mean free movies who wouldn't want to be a movie critic when they are older. its like the best job, besides the review side but you know all jobs have a down side. im sure its like that with your music shop."
"Yea true anyways when do you have to be in the office???"
"Uhhh 8 o'clock but ill go in a half hour early so we can have a little longer lunch together so you don't have to put up with the awkwardness when we tell our parents. that ok???"
"Yea sure ill see you at 11, and hurry up your going to be late if you want to be early I mean."
"Ok. you want to join me in the shower??"
"Na ive got a couple of errands to run before meeting for lunch, so see you then."
"Kk."
I head out the door ready to go shopping for some maternity clothes. I know im getting a little ahead of myself here but hey I just love the fact that im pregnant but if I have a miscarriage at least I have the stuff ready so we can keep trying and trying and trying until it does work. which will be good, anyways im just to excited about this. im having a baby, and they will have the coolest dad in the world. I get inside the limo to go have lunch when the phone rings. it was Josh's mum.
"Hello."
"Hi Nicole, how are you??"
"Im good, yourself??"
"Yea im good. we still meeting you and Josh for lunch??"
"Yea I was just about to leave. I will be at your house to get you soon, I also have to get my mum. be there soon."
"Ok see you soon."
"Ok bye."
I couldn't believe that we were about to tell our parents that we are getting married and that im having a baby. it will be hard for them to take it honestly will be.
we get to the restaurant and order our food and drinks.
"So we hear that you have some news for us."
"we sure do mum. um well, have a look at whats on my finger!!!"
"Oh my goodness, you two are engaged?? when did this happen???"
"it happened last night, when Josh took me out to dinner."
"Plus we also have some other good news."
"And what might that be my darling?"
"Well im pregnant."
