*Amber P.O.V*

After dinner was finished which was horrible than your boyfriend meeting your parents, the kids which includes me, Ali, Cameron and Matthew decided to go to the movies. Ali looked aggravated when mother told us to bring the boys but I was fine. I actually wanted Matthew to come.

Right now, we were in the movie theatre. Cameron and Ali was in the back while me and Matthew were in the front. I got myself a popcorn and soda but Matt didn't get anything, just a cherry freeze so I decided to share with him. The movie started but I wasn't really interested so I started talking to him.

"So, where did you came from?" I asked Matthew. He looked at me.

"Virginia. I guess you been here for your whole life?" He answered.

"No. We used to live at New York but move to California when our parents got a divorce." I replied.

"Oh. Sorry about that. I had to move in with Cameron since my parents died." He said.

"It's okay. I'm sorry for your loss and I'm also sorry about earlier with Ali. She could get curious sometimes and you know asks questions." I apologized.

"It's alright. She didn't know." He said. I half smiled.

"So how long you and Cameron met each other?" I asked.

"Since the first year of high school. We have become best friends ever since." He answered.

"That's cute." I said. He chuckled.

"Yeah. Do you got any best friends?" He asked.

"Not really. People just come and go ya' know? People don't really like me just because I'm mean but actually I'm not. They just judge quickly before they get to know me." I said.

"Well I think you're cool. You're not mean." He said. I smiled.

"I think you're cool too." I said. He smiled back.

"Thanks. Cameron calls me boring." He said.

"That's not true. I think you are very interesting." I said. He laughed.

"Yeah, sure." He roll his eyes.

"Okay that's your opinion, this is mine." I said as I focused back to the big screen.

"Okay." He said as he focused to the big screen.

I got full with my popcorn so I gave it to Ali which she shared some with Cameron. I look at both of them and see them talking. I smirked and chuckled. Matthew looked at me confused as to why I was laughing.

"What's so funny?" He asked.

"Nothing just how cute they look together." I said as I stared at both of them.

"Alicia and Cameron?" He asked. I nodded.

"They would look like a good couple."

"Yeah. They both seem complicated. They should have a lot of things in common." I said. I see Matthew frown in the corner of my eye.

"What do we have in common?" He asked. I shrugged.

"I don't know. Let's get to know each other." I said as I focused back on him.

"Okay, what's your favorite color?" He asked.

"Purple!" I said cheerily. He laughed.

"Mines blue." He replied.

"That's my second favorite color but anyways, how old are you?" I asked.

"I'm 17. What about you?" He answered.

"I'm 17 too! I'm turning 18 at July 26." I said.

"I'm turning 18 in July 7." He said.

"See. We got one thing in common." I said. He chuckled.

"Okay, what is your dream career?" He asked.

"Well, I wanna be a singer or an actress. I seem to be really good at it. What about you?" I answered.

"I would like to be an actor. People say I'm funny and stuff and I could act." He replied.

"So I guess we both want to be actors." I smiled.

"Yeah, we do." He smiled back.

I stared into his eyes as it looked dark. Probably because it's dark in here. He was staring into my eyes too. We were both staring at each other. I guess we were both hypnotized by each other.

We broke our trance when we heard Ali screamed. We both looked at her as her popcorn dropped. We all laughed at her as she looked mad.

"My popcorn!" She whined. People shushed us and went back to watch the movie.

We all went home after the movie ended. Cameron walked with Alicia as me and Matthew walked together. We were all laughing and telling each other jokes. Me and Matthew saw Alicia and Cameron flirting and we would tease them. It was so funny, they're faces would be so red.

As we reached to our house, we all said bye to each other. The boys went next door as me and Ali went inside. The lights were off, meaning mother and our step dad was asleep. Me and Ali both looked each other and sighed before walking up the stairs. We went inside our room as I lay back to my bed.

"Tonight was so much fun." I said.

"Yeah. That movie was so scary." She agreed.

"It wasn't that scary." I said.

"Yes it was. I dropped my popcorn because of that movie." She exclaimed. I laughed.

"You're such a chicken." I said. She glared at me.

"Don't talk. I saw you had the heart eyes with Matthew." She said.

"You too with Cameron. You guys were flirting with each other." I retorted. She roll her eyes.

"We were just getting to know each other." She said as she put in her pajamas on. I did the same.

"Same. Matthew is very interesting and cute." I said.

"Cameron is an asshole but he is a cute asshole." She said. I chuckled.

"You guys are like the perfect match for each other." I said.

"Same with you and Matthew." She said. I blushed.

"Well lights out." I said as I turned off my lamp. Ali did the same.

Before I lay on my bed, I looked out the window and saw Matthew in his room. He noticed me as he smiled. He waved bye as I did the same. I lay down on my bed as I pull the covers on me. Then I closed my eyes.
