*Ali's POV*

Once we arrived at home, I pulled into the driveway, "we have to leave." I whispered to Amber as Matt and Cameron talked. "What do you mean?" She asked.

"Maybe we should, like, go back to New York for a few days." I shrugged. Her eyes widened.

"What? Why?" She asked.

"For Adrian won't hurt you again. Also, we need a vacation. We need to get away from mom and our step dad." I whispered.

"With what money, we don't have money, we don't have enough gas, we don't-" I cut her off by covering her mouth with my hand, "shut up, or so help me god I will choke you."

I let my hand go, "I have money." Cameron said. We both turned our heads. "And who asked you again?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"With that attitude, you'll never get to New York." He said, smirking. "Are you bipolar or something?" I asked. "I don't know, do you want money or not?" He questioned.

"Ali, shut up!" Amber said, slapping my arm. "We'll take the damn money." Amber said, "please." She added.

"Sure but on one condition," Cameron said, "you have to take me and Matthew with you guys."

"Deal." Amber said. I groaned throwing my head back.

"Amber, can I talk to you for minutes. Alone." I said, glancing at Cameron then to Amber. She nodded as she got out of the car. I did the same as she walk towards me.

"What?" She asked.

"You know they don't have to come with us." I said.

"They're coming with us. We need the money. They have money. So why not?" She asked.

"I don't want Cameron to come or Matthew. Only just us." I whined.

"No. It's only gonna be a few weeks so get it over with." She said. I roll my eyes.

"You just want them because of Matthew." I said. She blushed slightly but shook it off.

"Just shut up before I throw you out the window." She threatened. I roll my eyes.

"Whatever." I said. I walked back to the car and opened the drivers seat, only to see Cameron. "Get the hell out of my seat, you aid- infested rat!" I said, pulling him out.

"Everyone out of my car and go pack." I mumbled, looking at the ground and feeling a bit guilty for yelling at him.

I ran inside, ignoring the sound of Cameron yelling for me. I quickly shuffled my feet up the stairs and into my room.

I grabbed two duffel bags and pack three weeks worth of clothes in them, throwing in some shoes and makeup supplies.

I also grabbed some other stuff that I thought I needed as Amber did as well. "I'll be in the car waiting." I said, throwing my bags over my shoulders.

"Y'know, Ali, I know that you don't want Cameron and Matthew to come, but is there a reason for it?" She asked.

"No."

"Ali, I know your scared of relationships but it doesn't mean that-"

"Amber, I'm fine. Really."

"Ok, did you order passports?" She asked. "No not yet." I sighed. "Well, maybe they'll have extra seats." She shrugged.

"Hopefully."

I walked downstairs, carrying my bags and knocking on the guys' door. Matthew opened it.

"Hey." I said. "Hey, Cameron's coming now. We have passports, not sure how, but we do." He said.

I pinched my lips into a straight line and nodded. "Should I call a taxi now?" I asked. "Yeah." He nodded, walking outside and sitting on his porch.

I followed along, calling a taxi. "They said it could be up to twenty minutes before getting here. Depends on traffic." I said.

Amber came over, sitting down and about five minutes later so did Cameron.

I played on my phone, trying to block out the world and eventually the taxi came. We threw our luggage into the trunk. Cameron offered to sit in the front and so we all hopped into the car.

Forty five minutes later, we walked into the plane and set our luggage in the compartment above the seats.

I was assigned a seat next to people I don't know. Luckily, they gave me the window seat.

After almost everyone on the plane was settled, I heard a voice. "Sorry sir, do you mind switching seats with me? She's my friend and I'd feel more comfortable sitting next to her." I ignored it, now thinking it was about me.

"Oh course!" I heard my seat- neighbor moving. "Dammit." I muttered under my breath. "Thank you again, sir." Cameron smiled at him.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi."

"Ali, whatever I did to you, I'm sorry."

I sighed, "Cameron,-"

"Attention, passengers. Fasten your seat belts and turn all phones off, this is going to be a long flight."
